Mr. DeClercq is an experienced civil litigator and business advisor who resolves disputes through traditional and alternative fora, with emphases in complex commercial disputes and real property actions. Representative engagements have included creative resolution of actions relating to mortgage lending practices, foreclosure, real estate valuation, contract interpretation and enforcement, construction disputes, claims of breach of fiduciary duty, consumer class actions, tort claims including CERCLA and state environmental torts, commercial lease disputes, and patent enforcement.

Mr. DeClercq has been selected as a «Super Lawyers Rising Star» (an honor conferred on less than 3% of practicing attorneys in California), and has been profiled by Rocket Lawyer. He is proud of his work in pro bono and public interest representation, including adoptions, unlawful detainer defense and disability rights advocacy.
