I decided to use Diane R. Marmolejo, Attorney at Law per the recommendation of a close family friend. I needed to get a prenup done and gave Diane rather late notice to do so (close to my wedding date), but she managed to exceed all my expectations with regards to the thoroughness of the contract (prenup). She also assisted me in obtaining an attorney for my then fiancé’.
I told her what my financial concerns were, both present and future, and she created a prenup that covered everything that I asked for with additional protections that I would have been SOL without. She was professional, courteous, and extremely accommodating.
Getting a prenup done is not fun. Not only dealing with your significant other, but also your significant others attorney. That being said, she managed to keep my stress low by calming and assuring me that all would be done and okay prior to my wedding date. She also kept me calm by the aura of confidence that she exhibited due to her in depth knowledge of the law. All was done in time as she had promised!
I cannot recommend anybody more highly than Diane.

I absolutely love Sunjay, Paul’s work and I recommend him to everyone. Ive known him for a little over two years now. I remember before I met him, I was on the search for a professional, smart, honest lawyer. Which there are very few of. Sunjay has a way of explaining things that is very understandable and I feel at ease when I leave his office, confident that he will assist me in everything related to my case. Sanjay did my divorce starting in August and he was able to end it in February which is fast considering a child was involve in the case. He is very knowledgeable and professional. Sanjay does not try to prolong the process but he try to end it within a reasonable time frame outside of court considering the other party are reasonable. I was looking at several different lawyers and Sanjay won over them during the interview process with him. I highly recommend Sanjay because I believe he is an honest and trustworthy lawyer. I had been attempting (and failing) to handle my divorce proceedings myself for some time and it had dragged out for years (years!). I eventually started looking into professional representation and in the aftermath of several bad experiences with other offices, I found Sanjay on Unilocal with a slew of positive reviews… and I am so glad I decided to contact him.
The ease of correspondence was amazing. I initially called and was surprised to be put through directly to Sanjay. We discussed my case status and exchanged emails to send him my paperwork. He was very reassuring that he would be able to help speed things along.
From there on out, we were able to handle everything we needed via email and I never even had to make an appointment to come into the office in person. This was absolutely amazing and a huge relief since I had already spent countless hours standing in the queue at the downtown family court nightmare of an office…

I highly recommend Sanjay. He helped me with getting my citizenship approved. He is extremely honest and flexible. I feel so blessed and lucky that my cousins referred me over to him after he helped them get their green cards. Could not have landed in better hands. Folks, child custody and support issues are stressful matters. The last thing you need is an attorney who is inattentive to your needs. I give Mr. Paul the highest review possible because he is a standup attorney in a pool of sharks. My first attorney years ago in this matter stressed me out as much as the child custody event. Immediately upon meeting Mr. Paul, knew I had chosen the right attorney to represent me in this second round dispute with my daughter’s mother. She was asking for five figures in arrears which she did not deserve. Mr. Paul negotiated a settlement which was less than half at a very doable monthly installment. Without getting into the particulars of the matter, I want to stress how his compassion, attentiveness, caring, and extremely responsive communication for an entire month put me at extreme ease. His personal skills are impeccable. I can not say enough nice things about Mr. Paul. Please, do yourself a favor if you find yourself in the same situation as I was and do not look further than Mr. Paul. You will not be disappointed in this consummate professional whose kindness and patience are immeasurable.

I want to thank Sanjay for helping my husband and I through a difficult process. He was always very patient and he is quite knowledgeable in the area of family law. He never tried to gouge me for money and in fact, I noticed there were several things he could have charged me for and yet he did not. I always felt that he had my best interests on the forefront. He is honest and trustworthy and is a fabulous with performing negotiations particularly with your adversary. I worked with attorney Sanjay Paul a few years back. He was non-​judgemental, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. Going through the process of looking for an attorney he did not pressure me at all and helped me consider various options. He worked with my budget and gave me a better price than others. I do not know if he is the least expensive however, he understood where I was coming from and at the end of the day I was looking for a fair rate and a place where I felt comfortable. And to this day I feel his rate was more than fair, it did not break the bank whatsoever. I was very scared to proceed with what he was helping me but he made me so relaxed and like I said earlier he did not judge me. I am glad to see he started a practice of his own. He needed to, he is a phenomenal attorney! He takes the time to go through everything and answer every question… even if you do not think of the question till after you sat down with him. I know some of LA’s top attorneys… I did not go through them initially because I have known them for so long and they have become family friends and I was afraid they would judge me as well as not pay too much attention to my case. Oh and they are really expensive because of how well known they are. Though family friends, my case would still be a small one compared to what they deal with and I did not want to feel like I was on the bottom of the totem pole so to speak. Sanjay was beyond excellent and basically held my hand through the process. He even told me how the day in court would go, and it went exactly how he said and it was wonderful, I did not have to do anything more than what he said I would have to do that day. He made a list of all I would need to do and all the things he would help me with. He went through all of my paperwork and was able to make sense of it all right away and even took the time to explain it to me. I could not have asked for a better experience, and though I hope to never have to go through that again or anything else again, I would gladly go to him for any problem I ever have again that requires an attorney. I suggest if you are hesitant, meet with him, you will feel comfortable and you will see that he really knows his stuff. Trust me, he has a great work ethic, is hard working, and he will make any process seem easy and you will not feel as stressful as the situation is.
