Garys Handyman Service

Gary did some repairs on our townhouse: fixed some ceiling problems and installed a new garbage disposal. He is affordable and did an outstanding job on the repairs. We would definitely use his services again. Highly recommend him.

We had Gary come back to our house to paint the whole interior. He did a fantastic job very fast and efficient. We will definitely call him back when we need him. Highly recommend !

Gary was nice in person. However, being a 1^st time home buyer and not knowing much about home repairs, I feel taken advantage of on cost and work done. I don’t feel confident in the level of honesty and never want to hire a random handyman again.

As single woman, it can be a bit challenging trusting two types of workers: mechanics and handymen. It’s just not easy to tell if they’re on the up and up. And when you find one you can trust, it can feel like cause for celebration.
And so I about did a little jig when I got the call from Gary that he’d finished fixing the venting on my water heater. I was so relieved because I had to leave him with my house door unlocked, realizing that I was literally trusting a stranger with most all of my worldly possessions. But I had little choice because I was under a tight time constraint.
Earlier in the week the gas company had informed me that fumes were not escaping properly from my water heater and that I should contact a plumber to correct the problem. After about 12 calls to various plumbers and handymen, Gary called to let me know that he could meet me at my house within the hour. We met, I paid him, returned to work and within the hour Gary called to update me of his progress. He didn’t even charge me more for a part that he had to replace.
Overall, Gary is the perfect handyman – knowledgeable, quick, clean, trustworthy, and kinda cute.

We had Gary come to install our blinds. He arrived on the promised time. We had total of 17 blinds and one door. He completed the job to our satisfaction and all our blinds were properly installed. There was a manufacturing defect in a couple of blinds and Gary was nice enough to say if we got the new blinds from the manufacturer, he would come by later to install them. While he was here, we also asked him to install our washer and dryer, and he did it in no time. I would highly recommend him.

I had a sprinkler system that was leaking along the back side of my house. I called Gary in the morning and luckily I caught him on a rare day off. We arranged to meet at my house at noon. He was right on time and professional, assessing the sprinkler system and offering possible issues and solutions. When I said I’d be happy with just turning it off for now, he tested different water valves around the house to isolate the sprinkler system and turned it off. He wouldn’t take any money as his visit was for a free estimate. I would definitely hire Gary for some real handyman work. He seems to know what he’s talking about and his prices seem fair.

Did such a great job! Very reliable and prompt. I called for some repairs, he came the next day and fixed multiple problems for a good price. He was honest and straightforward about the process.

Excellent handyman services! Showed up on time even I called almost the end of the day. He’s still accommodating and came to my house for services. Curtains and Drapes are being installed. Gary was fast and efficient as well as he listened my opinion. He also assembled my dresser too. Definitely not easy but he did it. Overall, he is professional, focusing, efficient and can complete the job in a timely manner.
Highly recommend for ppl who wants to find a good and trustworthy handyman. Price is reasonable and fair!

Gary is awesome! I just moved to Pasadena and needed a large-​heavy mirror put up on my wall and he did it, no problem. I had a couple guys come by yesterday and they gave me the run-​around and empty handed! Who does that? Anyways, highly recommend and he has a nice clean truck too! Hahaha Sorry Gary, had to do it in case you read your comments.

I had to get a new water heater installed in the basement and he took care of it for an unbeatable price! Very quick with his work, punctual and easy to work with. I highly recommend him for any of your handy work.

Gary returned my first call promptly, set up a time to call back and did so. I described the work I thought I needed (roof repair) and he arrived as promised with enough supplies to allow him to do the work that day. Price was reasonable and he gave me some information about the general condition of the roof as well. Would definitely use again.
