Description

Specialties

Our mission: Be the neighborhood café of choice by providing our customers with the best possible experience on each of their visits.

Everything can be ordered for dine-in or take-out. We offer a great selection of sandwiches, burgers, salads, breakfast items, organic coffee, smoothies, and even some fusion items such as the famous phở noodle soup and bubble tea.

Breakfast is served all day, including our mouth-watering breakfast burrito.

Our sandwiches, salads, and most everything we serve is made to order and can be tailored to your needs.

We are passionate about coffee, food, and service. Let us get to know you and your passions.

History

Established in 2009.

Beany’s came to be on 4÷21÷09 after taking over the café formerly named Shubert’s café.

We have since devoted our time and efforts on the food, service, and our people. By doing so, we aim to build our customer base through word of mouth.

Meet the Business Owner

Kevin T.

Business Owner

After graduating from UCLA in 1995, I enjoyed a short 6-year career in accounting. In 2002, I joined a couple friends in opening a café. Subsequently, I branched out and opened a Chinese restaurant in Hermosa Beach from 2004 – 2008. Along the way, I fell in love with the coffee, the food, and especially the customers and have been pursuing ways to make them happy ever since.

On 4÷21÷09, I bought Shubert’s Café from the previous owner and named it Beany’s Café. With this café, I hope to incorporate my prior restaurant experiences with my passions for the food and the people.
