Happy Nails and Spa

I’ve been here many times. I have to admit and also add to my existing review, that I have also had BAD experiences! There was a woman who sliced my foot removing a callous. seriously! I have also had more than one lady cut my toe to the point that it was sore for a week. Now, if someone isn’t doing the job that I want, I ask the manager for a new person. I guess it comes with having so many employees. Plus I always forget to get the name of the person working on me. Worse, although I tell the manager when something bad has happened, I’ve never gotten any discount! I continue to go here because it is CLEAN and because they have the best deluxe package, which I love.

I have to say this is my spot for paws and claws The service is excellent love these ladies here they are so much fun they make you feel very welcome Lina especially she’s great.

I have been coming to do my nails here for about 1 year — the girls are quick — maybe they don’t speak English but I don’t speak Chinese either so what– I like to relax — I want to wind down not perform when I am getting my nails done — everyone is different that is why happy nails is perfect — you can chat it up or just be quite– it is always about service where ever you go. And that is what I get «good service »

Not a fan of most happy nails’ because of the bad service but this one is by far the worst! The woman doing my toes cleaned the floor with her bare hands then went back to doing my toes without washing them. Very scary since I have a friend who got staph from a happy nails!

I’ve come here several times, normally in the afternoon with OK service. $ 30 for a pedi is higher than usual but not horribly overpriced.
Last Saturday, I came here late, around 7:30−8pm. I think they staff all the rookies at night because my toes were slaughtered. The bitch clipped my toenails WAY to close to the skin. She actually cut the skin right off my pinky toe. It’s been two days and my feet are still aching and sore. If the cut toe gets infected and I have to see a doctor, these people are getting the bill.
I will never go back to this place.

I keep coming back here. I’ve tried many other places and they never do as good a job as they do here. Tina is great, she’s fun to talk to and her gel manicures are on point! It’s very clean, easy access (at the Paseo) and affordable. It’s my go to nail salon.

I’ve always walked by thinking they would be over priced. But it’s actually a reasonable price! Very professional and good service. I’m loving the nice comfortable chairs and the massage

Got my nails done here yesterday. For a Happy Nails I thought their salon would be decorated and organized a little bit better. I was got the French manicure but the job was okay. Some of the clear coat wasn’t placed on the sides of my nails so I know it will start chipping later. This nail salon is okay for a quick stop but you will get just that «a quick job».

The crappiest nail job I’ve ever had! DO NOT go here to get your toes done. Gel mani is okay. Never going back.

Walked in and only waited around 10 minutes. The salon is clean, light snd bright. Beautician the was nice, helpful and did a great job painting my toes.
I’ll definitely be back and next time get a longer leg message.

I heard good things about this place from a colleague and I’ve passed it a million times on my way to the movies si I decided to give it a try. First, I walked in without an appointment and I was seated almost immediately. It was busy but they have a lot on staff. I got a deluxe mani pedi and I was definitely more impressed by the service than the finished product. I will give this place another chance since my friend swears by this place, but until then I can’t give no more than 3 stars.

Very unpleasant experience. My third visit to the salon. The first two visits were satisfactory — if not terrific. My regular manicurist at another salon is very busy on Saturdays, and as I was at DSW, I thought I’d drop in for a quick manicure.
I was assigned a woman who neither greeted me or even offered a smile. When she started filing, she told me that I was moving my hands the wrong way. After she finished filing and applied lotion, she told me to go wash my hands… When I asked her why, she told me that was the way it was done. She told me that the top coat I had brought with me was too thick. That is possible, so I said that it was time I bought a new one. But she couldn’t drop the matter. «No good. Throw it in the trash,» she growled with a nasty scowl. I told her that I was very uncomfortable and asked her «please» not to talk to me anymore. She brought out the little fan to dry my nails, I put my hands down in front of it — hands about an inch apart — and she pick up both hands and moved them firmly another half inch apart. Every action and gesture was hostile.
I told the manager how unhappy I was and she was apologetic, but the experience left me feeling that I would never return.

I needed to get my nails done, but dashing diva on Raymond was fully booked. So I walked by Happy Nails & Spa and saw how popular and busy it was, I took this as a good sign. I walked in, picked out a color and was in the pedicure chair within 3 minutes.
Once I started getting my manicure done, they were rushing through it, and I had nail polish on my actual skin. The woman eventually took the polish off of my skin, but there was polish all over my cuticles and it looked very sloppy. I could paint my nails better than this. Though everyone was friendly, and the salon was clean I will not be back simply because I was unhappy with the way my manicure turned out.

Happy nails makes me happy. Nice relaxing environment. Comforting staff. The prices are up to par with the service. I go bi-​weekly and the service is always consistent.

I broke off an acrylic nail and had a full day ahead of me. This was literally the closest place to where I was staying. First off when I walked in the lady I spoke to told me to sit down while she asked her manager what to do. It wasn’t like I had super complicated nails, they were white stilettos.
Anyways the manager let me get my nail fixed. I get a full set done in San Jose, CA for about $ 20 and it’s completed in under an hour. To top it off my nails last at least a month. Here it took almost an hour to do my one nail and the color and shape was a bit uneven. They charged me $ 7 for my one nail which I didn’t feel was worth it.
It was a nice and clean nail salon though. The atmosphere was really relaxing compared to most other places.

I am beyond livid about my fingernails. I ALWAYS come here because it’s extremely close to home and the staff are very nice. Tracy T did my manicure and it was rushed. I’m not even exaggerated by her rushing. She didn’t even use lotion for the «massage» part. She poured cuticle oil all over my hands. I still have oil on them. I almost asked her if she had somewhere to be but I was so angry the whole time I didn’t even want to speAk to her. I had to ask her to get some areas of my cuticles. Seriously just beyond terrible. This isn’t the first time I’ve had her now that I remember. I will be going back because I like everyone else, but I will tell them no Tracy T.

Just had a pedicure done here. They did a pretty too job. Prices are a bit higher here. I feel that I could get the same service for cheaper at other nails spas though. Wait time wasn’t too bad. They have a lot of staff so we were helped quickly. They have a decent selection of nail polish to the right by the cashier. Decided to go for a subtle pink/​nude color. My nail technician was very nice and sweet. She did a good job of painting all the way to the cuticle. I always hate when they leave a noticeable space over there. She also did an excellent job coating. My leg massage seemed a bit rushed and short though.
The interior was pretty clean and organized. They have a big spacious floor with two sections of chairs and in the back, the gel/​Mani only area. They had about four tables back there. To the left wall they have a small room for eye brows, facials, body massages etc. To the far back wall is the employee locker room area. You can see some employees hanging out or taking a break near the chairs in the back. Good thing about this place is they always have staff available so no long wait times. They do validate parking so don’t forget to get it by the cashier before you leave.

I’m giving them a star because of how nice the staff are. Other than that, there’s no other reason for me to come back or anybody to even try this place out!
I rarely get my nails done but when I do, I like to make sure the manicurist/​pedicurist is a pro. By pro I mean they’ve gone through proper training not only for nail design but also hygiene/​cleaning. So here are the reasons why I’m giving them a one star:
1) My cuticles were not taken off properly
2.) They were pushing my nails too hard — if you were a pro or had any common sense, you’d know if someone had soft nails and adjust accordingly.
3.) The quality of the nail polish is just horrible.
4.) Manicurist did not follow my instruction even though I showed her a photo from the very beginning. I said a faded french tip but she did a regular one.
5.) They were obviously rushing. For what, I don’t know!
So quality of their nail polish + actual service + cost = NOT WORTH IT AT ALL! I hardly do Unilocal review but I’m hoping I can save potential customers from a disaster.

You get one star only for having a nice lady like Helen, but you get no stars for the rest.
Very expensive.

Four of my friends went here, some of the ladies who were working seemed like they were in a rush on their nails.
They definitely could have priced us less for designs but they still made it super expensive for us.
A very rude person did my pedicure and she stared at my scar and made me feel like I was burdening her, when in fact I’m paying a lot for the pedicure. My friend’s pedicure wasn’t plastic wrapped and looked ugly later.
The only reason why I’m not absolutely pissed is because Helen, my manicurist, tried to help me find what I wanted exactly for my nails. She tried to please me, which is why I left a good tip, but honestly, do NOT waste your money and time here. However, my nails still aren’t as I had imagined, and I paid BIG $$$ at this place.

Umm this is my second stop of the day to try and find a decent manicure shop so my patience is already waning. Pasadena makes me grumpy sometimes. Lol. Happened upon this place on my way to the place I had pre-​yelped.
Yep, that was a mistake. Landed at an overpriced-​for-​what-​you-​get shop. I’m not saying it’s expensive just that it’s compared to nearby salons. Plus, I’m pretty sure she buffed more of my toe skin than nail. I had to ask her to please look where she was buffing. Wow. I also typically want to let ppl do their thing but I looked down and noticed she had filed my big toe nail crooked. Of all the toes to not notice, the b-​I-​g toe?! If you didn’t notice biggie, how would u ever notice the other piggies?
Very few nice polishes. Def lacking in the pale pink selection (considering I couldnt even find one. Perhaps they needed to restock?) and they’re my favorite shades I won’t be back. Convenience doesn’t always win over selection and quality… It just happened to this time: p
Come here if you must but prob won’t end up being ur regular spot. I like relaxing when I go get a pedicure and prefer to not have to oversee to make sure I’m being filed straight and getting even coats of polish.
