Update: My husband left the practice, as well. He was Dr. Wear’s patient. Dr. Wear did not inform my husband that his kidney function appeared abnormal on a blood test. We saw the results on the patient portal and my husband had to call and ask for Dr. Wear’s opinion on the result. Dr. Wear said it was «not too bad» and to watch it for 6 months. We were not satisfied with this response. My husband made an appt. with a nephrologist in Pasadena instead and got the problem addressed. My husband now sees Dr. Beutler, who is by far, the BEST DOCTOR he’s ever seen. Unfortunately for me, the only insurance she takes is Medicare, but my husband is thrilled with her thoroughness. She spent 90 minutes with him on his initial visit! She also follows up by email and ordered some baseline scans to detect possible lung cancer, since my husband smoked for many years. GREAT CARE!!!

I switched to Dr Nandi because of scheduling issues with Dr Gregorian (who is also great). I was so relieved Dr Nandi was available — she listens, is always on time, orders appropriate tests and is always so kind. I have to drive from Eagle Rock, but she is worth the drive. Thanks so much Dr Nandi — you’re the best!

If there were negative stars I would give this place –5. I agree with all the comments. This practice is unethical. I have been disputing a charge beyond my co-​pay for a preventive care visit with no success. They claim that because the doctor talked to me, then it is not preventive but a consultation. If you go to preventive care physical exam, don’t answer the questions the doctor asks you, because if you do, and she responds, then they would consider it a consultation. Stay away. This is my first review on Unilocal ever, but I believe medical practices like these need to be shut down!

I have not wrote a Unilocal review in years and this place has prompted me to do so.
I was in a rush to see a physician, so I didn’t take the time to do my research, but now as I’m seeing these other reviews, I’m stunned.
Like the other reviews say THIS PLACE IS SHADY.
When I made my appointment and went in for my appointment, I made sure to state that the appointment was for preventative care only (I get one free check up per year). THE OFFICE LADIES EVEN TOLD ME TO MAKE SURE I SAY THAT TO ALL THE NURSES AND DOCTORS I SAW.
Same story like the other Unilocalers, I get billed my co-​pay (my co-​pay is actually $ 20, but they billed me $ 30). I call their billing department and told them what happened and they said they’ll send me a summary of my visit. The summary didn’t indicate what was out of PC scope.
In the end, I just paid the 30 dollars to have them SHUT THE FCUK UP.
Yes, I had Dr. Nandi as well.

Avoid at all cost! I decided to venture out on my own and get my own doctor. I started seeing Dr. Nandi and all visits were very rushed. I figured she was just always booked up so I shrugged it off. During my yearly physical last year (which my insurances covers) she was asking me about all the basics since it is a physical. Months later I get a call from her office saying I had a balance of $ 30. Confused I asked what it was from since I always pay at the location and I was told «Dr. Nandi felt like you asked too many questions» I’m sorry, you’re going to charge a 19 year old girl for asking too many questions about her body during a check up??? I then told them that Dr. Nandi had never made me aware of the boundaries and asked if I would want to do a follow up appointment. They replied with, «well we are currently working on a way to make our patients aware that they will be charged.» I sent a letter to the medical building explaining my situation and never heard back. They sent my case to the collections company. What a scam this medical office is!!!

Same thing as everyone else here. Doctor Nandi is either a fraud or a complete idiot… either way you should avoid this person *especially* if you’re going here for your immigration physical. She didn’t fill out the required info for USCIS and now we have to return with a new sealed record. A complete waste of time, money and stress.
Also Dr Nandi doesn’t accept credit cards, cash only! Such a bullshit artist!

This place is terrible! Same problems with Dr. Nandi! I got into a mild motorcycle accident my knees did not seem to suffer any damage at first but now I can’t bend them with out them cracking and they sometimes give out on me when I walk. (I am 24, hence, not normal!) Well, I went in for a check up with Dr. Nandi and explained the whole situation she said she would request physical therapy for me 2 months ago. Every week I keep calling back both my insurance and the office because the request has still not been sent to my insurance.

The exact same thing happened to me in regards to being charged a separate fee for blood work in Dr. Nandi’s office. ($ 188) I’m still arguing this fact with my insurance company. I also asked Dr. Nandi if she knew a good dermatologist, but she never referred me to anyone. Instead my insurance company got billed for an additional $ 171 just because I asked the question and it was «coded» as a consultation!
Stay away from this office!
