Rude.
They do not except credit cards. Customer service is awful. Showed up early, which is a good thing except I wasn’t there. They said 10:30 AM I was there at 9:55 AM. They left, did not call me to say they were there early. When I called them at 10:45 AM, women was short and said would not come back without charging an extra $ 65. My place is 5 minutes away from shop. She was like, you want me you pay. It was about $ 600 dollars worth of work that they lost. I had done business with them over the past 20 years and refereed others. No more. I will find someone else.

Just called this place to see if they could come out and measure for our two big front windows and a few others in the home. She was very nice but said no one could come out unless I had 10 windows to screen. What? I don’t know how people can be in business with that kind of requirement. So just and FYI.

Last week I purchased some screens at this establishment. Although the place is not much to look at, they do very good work and they are quick. They had 4 screens ready for me within two hours. In addittion, they are honest. I inadvertently paid Hilda, the owner, an extra $ 20 bill and left to place my new screens in my car. As I was about to leave, Hilda came out of her shop to where I was parked and gave me back the extra $ 20 bill. What a great gesture and reflective of how she does business. I will definetly come back to JL Screens, if I need screens again.

We needed six window screens for our house and found Hilda of J. L. Screens and Doors via a quick Google search. We had called up several window screen businesses and Hilda’s was the only one that offered same day service (our screens were ready within 30 minutes!) and had better pricing than everyone else.
We found her place of business easily, our screens were ready (and gorgeous!) and she was SUPER nice.
Would definitely recommend, 5 stars all the way! She’s been in business for over 25 years and we can see why! Great service, über friendly and fantastic product!!!
