I have known Dr Pachorek for about 20 years. He has been the most caring md, he goes out his way for his patients. I recommend him to everyone and everyone in his practice is the same. Dr hillier and dr rowady are good alternates when dr Pachorek is busy. His office staff has always be professional with me and if they were alittle short it is only because they don’t have time to chat with you because they are busy. I respect that. When I was in the hospital he actually came to review my chart to make sure the md was doing all they could for me. He was not an md for the hospital I was at so I appreciate so much that went out of his way for me. I know he will do all he can to keep me healthy and alive. Isn’t that what you want when you pick a doctor. Here’s a tip look at the Unilocaler writing the review if they only have a few and they are negative ones only perhaps this is their way of bashing the business. Freedom of speech doesn’t necessarily mean freedom of truth. This practice is near perfect and you know there is nothing perfect in life. After all we are human beings.

I have seen Dr. Pachorek for over 20 years, since he first started. I also see Dr Linda Hillier as well. They are both interested and have always shown a respectful and friendly attitude and they remember my name.
Some bad reviews of the doctors and staff seem to be based on responses to insurance paperwork problems which every doctor encounters unless you are paying cash. I’m 72, see the doctor about once a year. They have referred me to very good specialists when necessary.

I’m writing this review in part to balance out what I think is an unfair review of Dr. Pachorek based on interaction with his office staff. Though I personally have never had a problem with his assistants, I don’t think it’s right to give a doctor a negative review solely based on brief discussions with the nurse and receptionist. I first saw Dr. Pachorek over 10 years ago when I changed insurance and could choose my PCP for the first time. I chose Dr. Pachorek based on his excellent reputation among his peers(I know several physicians who work at Huntington Memorial Hospital). During each visit, I felt I was treated well, highly competently and with a sense of humor. I have recommended him to several others who each felt they received excellent medical care. I trust Dr. Pachorek and recommend him highly to Unilocalers.

Dr. Pachorek’s office schedules you with one of his partner physicians who are incompetent and AFTERYOURMONEY. I called their office yesterday to have a prescription phoned in for a mild skin condition that I have had for 15 years. I have been using the same topical prescription for it, which has always worked very well. Dr. Daniel Rowady insisted that I make an appointment or he would not call it in. I did not need a diagnosis. It was completely unnecessary and I had already made three visits to this physician’s office in the past year for other issues. When I asked the nurse why he was reluctant to fill the prescription for a skin topical, she said I would have to make an appointment to ask him. It sounds like someone is trying to fill their pockets as fast as possible before Obama’s healthcare kicks in!
