We specialize in furniture upholstery, custom made furniture, as well as antique refinishing.

Ed Lanzetti runs a first-​class business. He does work for well-​known designers featured in Architectural Digest as well as homes in the Pasadena area. Ed also has around 45 years of experience in this field.

He has also worked with people from San Diego to Las Vegas. He has experience working with business and residential customers.

He’s honest and loves what he does. He always does a thorough and well done job.

Ed Lanzetti is also a member of National Association of Professional Upholsterers as well as the United States Chamber of Commerce.

Lanzettti did a superb job repairing and reupholstering my antique clawfoot, duncan phyfe style sofa, which I just got back yesterday. Lanzetti reupholstered 8 antique rosewood chairs that had belonged to my mother, and the results are spectacular. This is an old-​fashioned artist/​craftsman establishment, and from the moment I walked in (in February!) until I finally made up my mind in June from the thousands of fabric samples they offer, they were patient and helpful. They allowed me to take home dozens of swatches at a time, and the most difficult part of the transaction was choosing — really dazzling fabrics! I only wish Mom were able to see her beautiful chairs restored. Cost was not inexpensive, but in comparing prices all around, it was both fair and definitely worth every penny.

Yesterday I made the mistake of going to this place during what Unilocal shows their“business hours”, I was there @ 1:30.After walking 3 long blocks on a hot muggy day, they’re closed! The sign says“we’ll be back at 2:00,there is no place to wait other than standing in the hot sun.
This makes me wonder how reliable they would be having my furniture. I’m going to look elsewhere, Lanzetti will not be my first choice as it was before yesterday. MAYBE I will return (falling first of course) but if you say your hours are 8 – 5 then you should be open 8 – 5 or say“we closed when we get ready.

I have had a number of pieces reuphostered by Lanzetti’s. Their work is superior — great attention to detail and quality materials used. You get what you pay for in a very good way! Lanzetti recently helped me with an upholstery job gone wrong with another vendor that I «tried out». The other vendor did not make right on the shabby job they did, but Lanzetti’s reupholstered the piece for me at minimal expense to me just as a gesture of good will and to keep me going back to them in the future. Class act, all the way. I won’t stray again!

These guys did an awesome job on some outdoor padding I had done a while back.
The product was exactly what I asked for and was finished on time.
They are a little pricier that other places (which is why I’m giving a 4), but I was very happy with the overall experience.

I needed cushions for my patio furniture re-​upholstered. I was told a price and I confirmed it but was never told the fabric was extra, in fact I emailed a photo of the cushions and I wanted the same Sunbrella fabric and was told no problem. First I was told they can’t get the fabric and then when I gave them the Sunbrella code and patern name I was told the fabric is $ 60 per yd. I can buy the same material from several places for $ 22-​$ 27 per yd. Oh yes, I was told if I bring my own fabric in that the labor charge would be increased by 20%. Ridiculous.

If you want it done right the first time bring your furniture here. This isn’t a fast food uphostery shop and the work is done with care and yes, it may not be done as fast as you may like, but it is done right. I have not experienced a delay; however, I would not mind because I know they are doing their best to get it right.

Okay, I’ll bend and give a three because the repair was completely free and nearly immediate. I dealt this the daughter or grand-​daughter (?) of Mr. Lanzetti this time, and had a much better experience. And overall, the chairs look gorgeous.

Took a chair to be reupholstered using my own fabric to Lanzetti Upholstery. Was told it would be ready in 2 weeks… well one month later the chair wasn’t ready… called several times and was given a new date for pickup… each time I called to check on the chair there was another excuse. They upholstered my chair using the wrong side of the fabric I requested (bound to happen after 1 month, I suppose you forget). Also had 3 pillows made using same fabric… guess what, they screwed that up as well… wrong side of fabric and wrong size for the pillows, even though it was clearly written on the order. I have used other upholsterers in the past that did an outstanding job… never again with Lanzetti.

I had a great experience with Lanzetti recently. I had planned to buy all new furniture for my living room, and they suggested I use my existing furniture and make changes to the style elements I didn’t like. What a great idea. Saved me money and hassle, and they did a beautiful job –very high quality workmanship. They are also very, very nice and accommodating. They have a large selection of fabrics on-​site as well. They did the work in exactly the time they said they were going to also. I would definitely recommend Lanzetti!

Here you will find «Old World» craftsmanship and care with a personal touch for your furniture. Remarkable. In the past I have lamented that no one cares about their work — that is not the case here where pride and quality show. When I picked up the old chairs I had left for new seats I was stunned. The fabric was perfectly matched and the wood glowed.
Ed does not just do upholstery for your treasured pieces, he creates custom furniture for your home. He knows design, construction, stains and finishes.
