Allan’s service has been exceptional during the years, as he has informed us and kept on the look out for all of our important packages for our whole family, and when needed notary services. Allen calls when packages have been delivered and leaves them out at customers’ request after hours. He communicates all fees, etc. Located in a fantastic area in Pasadena.

I had a great experience with Mail Box Planet. Alan was really friendly, accommodating and knew everyone who walked in the door. It is small and intimate… like something you would find in a small town.

Great personable customer service! I needed a PO box for a period when I was away from town. Arrangements were made and my mail was forwarded to me to different places as I travelled. Always courteous and thorough, Allen was just so easy to work with — by phone or email.
The rates are reasonable. The place is neat, right downtown, with parking. All around a good deal!

As indicated in my earlier post, service was good until I notified Alan that I was moving and wanted to stop service. Alan suggested I pay for an additional one to two months in case any mail came that I had forgotten to forward or that fell through the cracks. Unlike other mail services, he would not hold any mail for me or charge me a forwarding fee which I found odd. I paid for one additional month as suggested, but when he suggested an additional month «just in case,» I declined. There were a couple of very important pieces of mail that were subsequently sent — fell through the cracks — and when I asked Alan about them he said anything that came in after I left was returned to sender, however, the sender never received anything. I’ve spent hours dealing with the non-​returned mail with sender.
I was a good customer for six years and really disappointed that I had no options other than paying for additional months for maybe one or two pieces of mail that fell through the cracks. I now have a new service that holds mail upon termination of service and have told me that they’re required, by CA law, to do so. They also forward mail for a fee. They were very surprised when they heard what happened with Mailbox Planet. Clearly, Alan wanted to make a few more dollars at my expense.

Smooth process. Needed a letter notarized, walked in at 4:00pm walked out at 4:03pm, that’s pretty much as good as it can get. They offer lots of services including shipping and postal boxes.

I visited here recently to get a ton of old documents shredded (as in, more than 100 pounds’ worth!). Couldn’t have gone more smoothly. The gentleman I dealt with (the owner, I think?) was super nice and efficient and made the whole thing go very easily. I would definitely use again.

I started using Mail Box Planet last June and I could not be happier with my experience those far. Allen is a terrific owner and his level of service and pricing is better than what you will find at a local UPS or other mail service store. He has always been warm and welcoming, his place is always clean, and he calls every time you get a package. He has convenient parking in the rear and gives you 24hr access. LOOK NO FURTHER. I have been using Mail Box Planet for several years now and I’m delighted with the professional service Allen the owner provides. The store is secure, accessible ²⁴⁄₇ and I have access to any services I need, FedX, UPS, letters mailed you name it. Can’t recommend the place enough, Allen is a pro.

The staff (or store owner, I can’t really tell: p) here is very friendly. He helped me to choose box and wrap everything up, and explained all choices of delievery very patiently, very different from many other places where the staff won’t lavish a word on helping you… It looks like he has a good relationship with many of the neighbors in this area too.

I have been using this place as my go to «shipping out mail» spot for several years now. Allen is always so attentive and welcoming and helps me figure out the best price for whatever package I’m sending out, whether its a huge care package or an envelope of documents. I am that girl (i admit) that never has stamps or boxes, or any mailing supplies for that matter, so knowing i can come here and Allen will take care of everything, is such a relief! The prices may be a tad higher than a regular post office, but it’s worth the extra change not having to deal with hideous lines and unhelpful post office workers.

The transaction I made for a notarized document and mailing through DHL went smoothly. Service is friendly, effecient, and unpretentious. It’s easy to park in the streets or at the lot in the back.

I have been renting a mailbox at Mailbox Planet since they opened back in 2002. Over the past 12 years I have used many of their services including shipping, notary public, and document shredding. I always get quick, efficient, and friendly service.
I own a small business myself and always have a need for special services. The proprietor, Allen, goes above and beyond to accommodate my many requests. He’s also great to talk about sports with too!

For almost 4 years, we have been getting our mail and packages delivered at Mailbox Planet. Alan is friendly and helpful. I get a call if I have a package, I can access my mailbox 24 hours a day and, no matter what shipping needs we have, Alan is able to help us.
It’s a great place to have your mail and packages delivered. Your items are kept safe and if you are unable to pick up right away, Alan will hold your packages.
