History
Established in 2014.
Personal trainer, Maggie Chen, had her start in weight loss stories with herself as her own first client. Losing 60 lbs, and 6 dress sizes caused her to seek out the profession of helping others to find their own before/after results when it seems near impossible. After working at a big box gym for 8 years, she founded MC2 Fit as she found better avenues to bring results without the limitations of a large corporation. Because results and the well-being of clients are the first priorities, the business aims to bring fitness as a first mission over some of the common goals often found in large corporations. The business, while new on the scene, isn’t new however in doing what it does best. The methods are tried and true and Maggie Chen, its head trainer, implements all the programming.

With a combined experience and education in fitness industry of 17 plus years, being a catalyst for others to achieve the greatest health and fitness possible is Maggie’s greatest passion. Maggie holds BA degree in Physical Education and Exercise Science from California State University LA, and personal training certification in NASM, and NPTI. Other certifications: Corrective Exercise Specialist/NASM, International Board Certified Nutrition Coach/Venice Nutrition, AFFA Group Exercise, Body Combat/Les Mills Healthy Moms Perinatal Training, Apex and Tabata Bootcamp. With her own weight loss of 60 lbs., 6 dress sizes, and 10 inches from the waistline, she went on to teach thousands and was awarded“Best Fitness Trainer”, in the 2013 Reader’s Choice Awards of the Glendale News Press/LA Times.
