Modern Touch Window Tinting

Really loved working with Modern Touch, use of latest technology in tinting, demo was great and educational, team super professional. Bravo and thank you, Modern Touch!
Now some details for those who love to get into them. We moved to a new (but surprisingly unloved) house and had to deal with lots of extremely frustrating issues and contractors.
We have two favorite contractors, who made a really big difference. One of them was Robert, a Pasadena local, and his team. Robert responded to our email immediately, was at our house on time, and explained everything in a very accessible yet professional manner and helped us choose the best tinting material for a VERY reasonable cost. His team, two very pleasant and real professional guys, who worked at our house, arrived on another day and finished the job in about two hours. All was so well done, we were speechless. You can tell their 20+ window tinting experience is a rewarding one for all their present and future customers. Thank you again, you really are awesome!

Robert and crew at Modern Touch were great! They came to our home and provided samples, gave detailed information on the samples and differences and reviewed the process of tinting. The product looks great so far! They were on time, quick to get back with questions and worked with us financially.

This recent episode of Infernal Heat Waves turned our room with LOTS of windows into an Oven. I did research on window tinting for homes and came across lots of great information on the Internet regarding different window film solutions that provide solar heat reduction. I sent emails out to different companies and one person called me back promptly: Robert from Modern Touch Window Tinting. We scheduled an appointment and he arrived on time. Robert provided me with information and solutions, he took measurements, he provided a recommendation on a product, and provided me with a quote. I felt that he was there to be a resource, not to sell me on something. I did obtain one other quote, so I knew that the price that I was quoted was fair and comparable to at least one other company. But Robert went «above and beyond» to provide me with a sample of the product and great customer care and follow up, so I chose him for the job. Robert and his team of professionals (2 guys) came out to our house today and they were all perfectionists in their approach to their job. These guys are experienced professionals, friendly, personable, and very clean (especially appreciated since it can get a little messy removing old film that is stuck to the windows). Robert checked in every step of the way to ensure that we were pleased with the results and we are. We could feel an immediate reduction in heat load in our home, and we are grateful! The film looks great and it will provide us with relief from heat for years to come! Such a simple solution that I wish I would have done sooner. Having two large window fronts we were not able to use our lounge room and dinning room during the day during summer. Finally we decided to inform ourselves about window tinting. We were looking for a local company and couldn’t be more satisfied with the work Modern Touch provided. They came and talked about different options, never pointing to the most expensive one. It turned out that the work was complex due to our huge windows, but the guys did a fabulous job. Finished everything in one day! They covered the floors to not damage it and when finished cleaned everything. We highly recommend them! Now we’re able to enjoy the rooms during the day too! Thanks Modern Touch for the great work!

Called Modern Touch because we had some windows we needed to get done in order to cut down on the glare and heat. Called Robert and after I sent him measurements and pictures he was quick to provide an estimate which was a lot more affordable than what I was expecting. A few days later Joaquin and Sergio came out and let me tell you… they were great! Very professional and super nice. I was concerned there was going to be a lingering chemical smell but they only use soap and water… so no smell! They laid down tarps to protect my floors/​area rugs and wore booties on their shoes when walking around. They finished in about 4 hours and I could see the difference right away. Very happy we spent the money to have it done and will definitely have them back out to work on some more windows. You will not be disappointed!

I wanted to get UV film for my home and Modern Touch was recommended by VIP tinting on Altadena & Sierra Madre. Called and Robert came over for an estimate next day. He was extremely courteous and professional — even put booties over his shoes to protect my floors (!) — patiently answered all my questions. He took a look at my huge south-​facing window as well as a couple smaller windows, totaling almost 100 individual panes — didn’t even phase him. He showed me several different tint/​film options and quoted me a fair price and worked within my budget. The following week, his guys showed up right on time and were extremely friendly and professional. They spent the entire day, cleaned after they were done and did a great job. No complaints here! Will be contacting them again if I need more windows done. Thanks guys!
