Oak Knoll Kinderhaus Montessori School

We just moved to the area and were looking for an accredited Montessori school. So, we decided to visit this school for an observation. My wife and I took our twins with us (we could not get a baby sitter), hoping that one of us could stay with the twins in the lobby and the other one could go to the class and observe. Well, we got a nasty look from the person who received us (not the director) as soon as she saw the twins (they were behaving very well — they are Montessori trained after all) and she basically told us that the children could not be in in the lobby with one of us. She suggested that one of us take the children to the coffeehouse down the road!!! I just could not believe what I heard. I had to walk the children around the neighborhood for about 45 minutes while my wife did the observation. Guess what — I do not care to send my children to this school — if they treat would be students and their parents like this, guess how they will treat the students/​parents when they rope them in. Bad marketing/​careless operation. If the director is reading this, then my advice to you is to train your front office people to be more people friendly — come to think of it, do not hire people who do not exhibit basic common sense.

Every night I say to my husband, «I am so grateful for this school!!!» If you want an adorable, charming, structured, creative, smart, dependable, loving school, you should sign up.

My son is now 4.5yrs and we are still loving it.
