I have become a customer and really enjoy how knowledgeable the Owner, Lawrence is when it comes to anything comic related. he is a walking encyclopedia of comicry! I could go anywhere and do business… but why would I when he is located right here in Pasadena? He runs a solid business and I highly recommend it!

I have a few go-​to shops in and around LA, but this is definitely my go-​to for back issues and complete sets.
It’s a fairly small store but it’s FILLED with boxes of back issues. They have new stuff as well, of course. Customer service is easily among the best I’ve experienced in California. Super friendly and helpful and at the same time let you browse in peace. My last visit I had a bit of a dry cough and was quickly offered some water. It’s really like stopping by a friends house. You’ll find yourself spending hours digging through comics.
Also, on Free Comic-​Book Day they had a 50% off EVERYTHING sale. Yes EVERYTHING. Trade Paper Backs, hardcovers, back issues, complete sets, current stuff! I ended up stopping by twice during the day. Incredible deals.
Highly recommend this shop for key issues, variant covers, back issues, complete sets, and some of the best customer service in town.

The owner, Lawrence, & his fiancé, Stacie are just THE BEST!!! They will go out of their way to help you find whatever you’re looking for. Very fair, & cool to talk to as well! You can tell this is a family type of business. Folks who aren’t local can also buy through their ebay store, but of course, it’s much more fun to pop in! Sometimes they have really good deals & even book signings! That life-​size Batman on the roof is too cool.

Always really helpful and friendly when I come in. If they don’t have what I’m looking for, they always order it for me! Love this place

Lawrence and Stacey are very helpful. I’ve been going to there store and at frank and sons collectibles for my comic book needs. They are helpful on trying to get the best price for the books to you. I was able to find a lot of the older comics as well. Also, they do buy back comics. Great customer service.

My sister lives near here and I am always drawn to it when I visit because of the gigantic Batman standing on the roof of the store. I’m thinking the Michael Keaton version.
Anyway. Finally visited a few weeks ago and was quite surprised at the selection this little place has. If you’re into comic books (and I guess I am) you’ll enjoy it. Reasonable prices and very nice staff working there.

I have been to this shop so many times I am surprised I have not summited a review on this place. Key points to a comic book shop are as followed customer service, selection of books, and the shop as a whole. Customer service, if this was about a year ago I was would say it is awful but there are things that I didn’t think about like some people just don’t want to be bothered when looking for there fav books, Now that I am a regular like seriously 2 to 4 times a week (I know I have a problem) it has gotten a lot better. The bottom line is the owners are good people and they will ask if you need help if you say no they will leave it at that. Second thing is the book selection. If your going in to pick up some modern books you might need to find a new shop now don’t get me wrong they do carry some modern books and they have a decent selection of the top modern books that are popular, but the reason you come to this shop is BACK ISSUES. I mean you are trying to fill gaps in your collection they will have it. I can’t tell you how good it feels when your going to go to a signing and you just need or want a couple more books from that that one artist or penciler and you call up «your shop» and they have it! If for some reason P Dots doesn’t have it they will find it for you and call you back to say hey I found your book. The prices are very fair as well. You find something you like they won’t use that against you to raise that prices. Third and final thing for this shop is the comic shop as a whole. Its a small shop but packs a huge punch! You walk in and the lighting is dim and you look around and at first thought you might be thinking that this doesn’t have much to offer. So, you look in the tons of tons of long boxes that they have on the table and the kid in you wakes up and you find these books you had when you were young. You ask the guy (or girl) behind the counter if they have a certain book and that leads to a great conversation and they don’t mind having. All in all this comic book shop is a fantastic place to get popular new and used books. If you have comic book question just ask they won’t make you feel dumb for asking it. If I could give this shop six stars I would.

Great little comic shop with reasonable prices. A pretty nice selection of back issues too. Very friendly atmosphere. I was first introduced to this shop by an associate at the Pasadena Community College Flea Market. Their fle market deals were so awesome, that I had to check out their shop. I believe they also do CGC submissions. If you’re in the Pasadena area, it’s worth checking out!

Owners are very friendly and knowledgable. I’ve been to other shops where the people working there had no clue about comics and couldn’t answer a single question I had. They have all the popular new issues and a very nice assortment of back issues. I was able to pick up some variant issues I had been searching for. Prices are good and the books are in excellent condition. Also, they had some nice bundled sets that they were selling. I will definitely be making this a regular spot for my comic hunting.

Excellent comic store. I’ve been collecting for 25+ years so I’ve seen my share of good and bad comic book stores. This place is one of the better ones I’ve seen. They won’t try to fool you with overpriced statues and toys. This place focuses on back issues and complete sets. Reminds me of my local childhood comic book stores.
The owners were super nice and extremely helpful and patient. I was able to find many issues on my checklist (1^st Sabertooth, Batman Year 1, 1^st Elektra) at a fair price.
I’ll definitely be a regular at this store. I highly recommend anyone interested in comics to check this place out.

New store and guy is cool. Want back issues then hit this place up. Prices vary but has plenty to choose from.
