Even though it’s not much to look at now, I still give it 5 stars since I grew up in this mall. The armadillo, the Christmas decorations, the crowds, the working fountains filled with change, waiting in line for Santa, waiting in lines for Halloween candy, the Tilt arcade that used to be a Showbiz Pizza type place before that that had singing performances and pizza, buying games at Electronics Boutique, the KB Toystore, Morrow’s Nuthouse for candy, Spencer’s, the Hickory Farms where we used to raid the free samples of sausage and cheese as kids, the Corndog on a Stick, the James Coney Island that used to be in the food court. So many memories.

Came here yesterday bc I heard they had an indoor playground. Well the indoor playground was cool, however we wouldn’t let our son play on it bc it was so filthy and gross. Looked like it had never been cleaned. Second, it was hot as heck. Like slightly less hot than outside but still hot. The food court has like 3 places. All of which looked pretty gross. There are two smoothie places but idk if they’re any good. There are the coin operated ride stations scattered throughout the mall but they all cost at least a dollar each. There isn’t much here to look at. A toy store, a couple of furniture stores, a cricket store, and a western store. Aside from Macy’s, palais royal and I think Sears, it’s pretty empty. There is a fountain and that’s pretty cool. But honestly I don’t think we’ll be back. It’s sad how much its deteriorated since I was a kid. I remember it used to be a cool place to get lunch when I went to work with my parents, who worked right across the street. Now it’s just sad and outdated.

Yup, just like Almeda Mall, Sharpstown Mall, and Greenspoint Mall many of us patrons have fallen short to visit these types of shopping centers. From the outside this mall looks outdated, though from the inside it is filled with stores with reasonable deals. This is a great place to meet someone for a textbook, a new date, or to take someone that hasn’t ever been outside. Malls like this saddens me because just like Baybrook Mall – this mall used to have life and it used to be cluttered with people, but whenever something new and improved comes to town the citizens seem to abandon what used to be a wonderful mall. So, we can’t solely blame the mall for looking outdated or being vacant. It is the people of the community that make it that way.

This breaks my heart. I used to wait inline for Santa here. or just the Christmas crowds was like it was supposed to be… at least in the 80’s-90’s. The prom dress I had was from the store and back in the day was $ 700 which seems absolutely ridiculous now or ever, especially around the corner from the food court. Everything about his place makes it sad to me now. It was also my first job at The Gap…(sigh).

Pasadena town dump is more like it. Mall is hella dead i ate at the food court and the teriyaki chicken tasted so bad i almost threw a chair at the place i brought the food from for selling this nasty generic food.

This«mall» is so desolate that you can walk from one end to the other without running into another person. It’s worst at night. Although they seem to have security patrolling the premises, I don’t feel any safer. Some look like convicted killers. My friend takes his kids there and drops them off for an hour as punishment. It whips them into shape and always run back to the car swearing that they’ll never be bad again. Super Scary Place!

It has taken me forever to write this review… I must admit it is my hardest one so far. Pasadena Town Square Mall holds a special place in my heart because it was the mall that I went to growing up. My friend’s father helped build it, and we got to run around and play in it while it was being built. I remember the big armadillo that used to be in the middle of the mall.(It is now at the Pasadena Fair Grounds.) I also held two jobs in this mall as a teenager. I worked at Corndog on a Stick(yes we did have to make the lemonade… and it SUCKED!) and the Gap, both of which are no longer there. Even though this mall can’t even begin to hang with the big malls… it is still a pretty nice mall for the size. You can tell that it is very well taken care of. It is always clean… and the fountain area has fresh plants with a seating area near the water with fountains that actually work. Also, this mall is never crowded. I work in a building that is within walking distance and even during the holidays, it was easy to get around. They don’t have A LOT to offer… but they do still have a Macy’s, Sears and Palais Royal along with some famous name shoe stores. The food court doesn’t really have a big selection, but what they do have is pretty good. On Thursday’s the company that I work for has a guy that comes and will wash your car for $ 20, so I am usually without my car on Thursday’s. So, this is the day that I usually walk over to the mall for lunch. I have eaten at just about every place they have there. They have Chick-Fil-A, China Wok, Mi Mexico, Roman Delight, Subway and a few others. Being that most of them are chains, I am pretty sure they taste just about the same where ever you go. So, if you are looking to go to a small mall that is clean and not crowded this would be the place to go, but if you are looking for a huge shopping experience with lots of people watching Pasadena Town Square Mall is not for you.
