I showed up early because online it showed his office opens at 9AM but the sign outside the door said 10AM, but whatever. I was in and out within 20 minutes. The man is fast. Would go here again should I need another live scan.

So glad this place is here in Pasadena, otherwise, I would have had to go out to San Gabriel Valley to get the visa photos. This is a great place to get your passport/​visa photos, although they do other things such as live scan, notary services, and taxes. They’re on the second floor. The staff is super friendly. As soon as I entered, greeted me with a smile, asked what I needed, and went right to the camera after. I got in and out within 5 minutes. By far, the fastest photo service I have had, and for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend to the locals!

Second time I’ve come here! Everyone here is very professional. There was hardly a wait when I came. I did not make an appointment but I know that you can call and do that. After I walked in two other people came in right after me so depending on what they needed, it was at least 10 minutes for each person.
The first time I came was to get some stuff notarized and second was for my livescan. Ricardo is very personable and professional. The Livescan was cheaper than many other places I checked ($ 67 total for DOJ and FBI). It is located upstairs, above the hair salon. Parking can be a little tricky since the lot is very small. No matter! This is my go to place for any of those needs! Thanks guys!

I just got photos taken for a Japan visa here and it was really quick, easy, and inexpensive. The photos I needed had some pretty meticulous specifications but Jennifer helped me out and she was awesome. She was very courteous and patient and went out of her way to make sure that everything was just right. Thanks for some very professional service!

Awesome service we talked about how his business is one of the only one that does finger printing for cheap. Really humble guy and you can just tell that he has patients to deal with you. I did my finger prints and he showed me how to fill out the paper and everything he is very clean and a really nice office.

Called in advance to make sure there would not be a wait. I understand people come in and change that — that’s not the problem. He assured me the wait would only be 5 minutes — because I told him I needed to pick up my kids. 20 minutes later I picked up my purse and left. Did not get my live scan nor was able to pick up my kids on time.
I don’t mind waiting — but I think I prefer honesty or updates better.
Not going back — taking my business elsewhere

No hassle Live Scan here. Small office upstairs with a parking lot. Located a little east of Marengo, not right on the corner. There was once person in line in front of me and the whole process took no more than 15 min. Total cost was $ 77.

Ricardo Tax Service offers many services besides just tax service; he also offers live scans, notary & passport photos at a really great price. i called all around and every other place was outrages for passport photos, he was the lowest $ 8 dollars for two. Really quick service and excellent customer service. Really nice receptionist also working for him. He is right on the corner of Morengo Avenue the parking lot is on a busy intersection so that was the only hard part was getting in and out of of his lot, but other then that everything went really smooth.

Well, although my original review stands, you really ARE the only LIVESCAN place near me, and at a really reasonable price.
And the SECOND time I came by, you saw me right away. Also, your fingerprinting technique is pretty good. I’ve had my fingerprints done more times than I’d care to admit, and the LIVESCAN sometimes takes forever, because of the rolling method that they require. Some places practically engage you in a thumb war, and others have too limp of a method, but you sir: you are a pro. The prints took first time every finger.

The place is easy to find – the building is on the corner of Orange Grove and Marengo, and the parking lot (free) entrance is on Orange Grove. He’s on the second floor and no appointment is necessary. The process was very quick and fast – you just need to have your driver’s license with you since he takes down the information and also verifies that your signature matches it. $ 10 per signature; not a bad price. Depending on what document you need notarised, you should be in and out in about 5 minutes.
