Robert Half Finance & Accounting

So I’ve been signed up with office team since September 2014, however up until now, I hadn’t really been able to pursue jobs because of my full time schedule with school. I would only do day jobs here and there. Recently I parted ways from living and depending on my mother and got my own apartment, the transition is stressful trying to find a job to be ready for the 3^rd months rent and so on etc. Because I am now taking online classes i wanted to give this office-​team thing a better try and see if I can get some work until I find something I like, that can pay the bills. (FYI I am a communications/​film/​TV production major.)
When I called to speak to someone about work GARVEY FOSTER called me back. We spoke about my resume, and from the beginning he was cool, down to earth, and ready to figure out how to properly place me somewhere Id feel comfortable. He had noticed on my resume that I was in a program that he knew about concerning film/​TV production, and what I can honestly just say is that I believe God had used Garvey, someone with a heart willing to care enough, to place me on a job that could not only boost my confidence and experience in administrative work but to put me in an atmosphere I ultimately want to be in.
Garvey is sweet, personable, prompt, and not only does he look out for you he knows by your personality how to fit you into a position where you feel right at home at the company even if it is just for only a moment. He’s always keeping in touch with me and following up to make sure I’m good on the job and telling me about new projects. I feel more like he’s a big brother than someone whom I’m hoping can get back to me about temp work. He has definitely taken a lot of stress off me, so I highly recommend signing up with office-​team and connecting with ya boy Garvey. Hes dope! OH and his assistant Valerie is awesome too. I had messed up my time sheet and called in to see what happened, She was on her way out the door to be done for the day and handled my situation before doing so, so yea they are all awesome. Even Daleasha Gooch at the LA location!

Robert Half Accountemp is very helpful. They help you find the job you desire with a good pay. Those staffs are very friendly. If you are actively looking for a job, check out this awesome staffing agency.

This is coming from someone who WAS offered a full time job: Robert Half is only working for themselves and not the client. I was pressured to make a decision about a job in ONE HOUR and the rep knew what my situation was and I had asked for one night. The company I was working for had no problem giving me the night to think about it; Robert Half pressured me because it would be convenient for them. I gave them a piece of my mind so I could have a night to think about this big decision for my life. They gave excuses of pressuring me so they could have me train another temp for the same position; meanwhile the company already had someone there and they were not in a rush to find a temp. Robert Half works for Robert Half/​Accountemps whatever they call themselves. They do not work for the client. I have more stories but this is enough. Also, one of their temp reps is so lackluster that you don’t even want to go to her so I kept demanding I speak with a particular temp near the end of my gig with them so that I could at least get someone that was present when on the phone and not someone lackluster who just barely does the job. Ridiculous.

Paolo Aragon is the best guy to have in your corner! He really cares about placing you at the best possible position. He gives lots of feedback from your interviews. A really stand up guy.

I honestly would not waste time dealing with this employment agency when there are several others located in the Los Angeles area that are much, much better. Here is the reason why I am giving them 2 stars.
Pros: I found the office team to be courteous and semi-​professional.
Cons: They don’t actually do what they are advertised for. I went in for an interview (after applying for a job online) and I was told what a great candidate I was and how easy it would be to find me a permanent position. Not once during the interview did we talk about the actual job I had applied for, which later led me to believe that it was a false advertisement, a way to bring people in. After the meeting I was told that they would keep in touch. I never, ever heard back from them again. Countless attempts to get answers about employment were unsuccessful. Of course I did not put all of my eggs in one basket and I was continuing my job search on my own. But I was foolish enough to think that being signed up with this agency would give me a leg up on my job hunt.
****PLEASE, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. All these people care about is getting you in for an interview, getting you into their system, and getting a hold of your references so they can call and bug the crap out of them. TRY ANY OTHER AGENCY BEFORE TRYING ROBERT HALF.

Do not waist your time. This is one of the most unprofessional agencies that I know of. They will bring you in promising you things that they can’t deliver. I had an interview with Craig a long time ago. This man is nothing but an imbecile, truly an imbecile. Run, do not waist your time. Just remember, the very same positions are given to so many other agencies that are more professional. I am a manager and will never use their services and will share this with others as well. And as for you Craig, you should sell shoes!!!
The same goes for the Branch Manager!!! Truly, another «IMBECILE.»

Waste of time: They post fake jobs known in the industry as fishing. As a hiring manager and have used them in the past, I would not use them again. There’s other ways to find employment without wasting your time.

Revised Review:
As with all such agencies, they love you and «have your back» until you are settled into your new job, then they magically become condescending. Would love to find staffing people who don’t slip into that.
They were perfect about getting me paid. The only time there was an issue it was fixed quickly and with professionalism.
The trick with agencies is to get them to like you. I always found 230 in the afternoon to be a good time, people are bored and getting sleepy and you come in and perk up their afternoon. Then they’ll remember you in a way that makes them want to call you.

Positively ridiculous how professional this organization is! I tried to sign up with another agency and was told they couldn’t help me because my most recent job was out of the industry. I have mad skills. So me and my skills went to robert half and had a job so fast it made me dizzy.
Be professional, stand up straight and they’ll find you work. Then do a really good job and they’ll find you more work.
Yes, there’s a reason they’re the largest agency in the world.

This is one of those staffing firms that will convince you to come in to their office, then wastes half your day with «tests» for jobs that don’t exist. Is that what «Half» stands for… waste «Half» your day??? Or maybe «half» is «Half the going rate,» because that it what many of their jobs pay.
When I was new to IT, I might have fallen for this.
But now that I’ve been working in the field for ten years, I’ve worked with a lot of agencies. Any agency that wants to meet you before sending you out on a technical interview with a client is a scam. They are just wasting your time.
I really HATE businesses that take advantage of people who are looking for work. Taking advantage of people is crappy, and doing it when they are vulnerable is even worse.

This company is absolutely awesome! They have position openings for Officeteam (all office positions and others), Accountemps (Accounting Positions), RHI Technology (Tech. Field), RHI Finance and Accounting, The Creative Group (Website designers), RHI Legal (Legal Positions), and I may be missing a couple but I really can’t stress enough how much this company has helped me find a position. The Robert Half International at this location is so great. The agents really care about what you (the job seeker) wants. I went through Officeteam because my job history is in executive office areas and Melissa (my staffing agent) really did a great job. I am now in a position where I am financially steady with my Salary based job that was temp. to hire and I can really see myself here longterm. The company has great work ethics and I couldn’t be happier. And if you go through Officeteam, please ask for Melissa Magruder and let her know that Ashley sent you! She will really help you out if you are searching for a position. Thanks Luetrell, Melissa and Debra for everything you have done for me!
