Sinclair Landscaping Company

The apology is much appreciated. However, I received a call after he saw my Unilocal post and he said he would call back to schedule a time to come by and take a look. His reason for not showing at the first appointed time was that a family member had a serious health concern (not that he was very busy). I told him the date I would return from my trip and he said he would call me at that time to reschedule. Guess what?! No call!

This is just a followup to my review. Finally after a month or so they noticed my negative review and Chuck himself called me. I did want to give him credit for having enough balls to pick up of the phone and reach out. I would have still let them come out but I can’t stand people who are dishonest. When I answered the phone Chuck said he did, in fact, call back previously and spoke to my assistant. I said, oh really was it a man or a woman? Look he had a ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ shot of getting it right and he said a woman. Oops! My assistant is a man and his name is Michael. So if he is going to lie something simple as this from the beginning, I certainly wouldn’t trust having them do any work for me at my estate.

I have a large hilside that was damaged by fire a couple years ago. I have called several contractors but Chuck was the only one willing to take on my project. He was quick to respond and quickly came up with a plan. Chuck and his crew promtly got to work and completed the project within the time frame that was outlined. I am completely satisfied with the work and intend to hire him again in the future for maintenance as needed.

I read all the great reviews on Unilocal,called Chuck and made an appointment for the next week. The appointed time rolled around and no Chuck. I called him to see if he was on his way or perhaps we had a misunderstanding and nicely asking if we could reschedule, leaving my number. No return call. Called again, LM. No return. So nice to be so successful that you can blow off paying customers needing $ 40k of landscaping.

I have used Sinclair Landscaping for many years and can honestly say I have never been diaappointed. Their expertise in what I needed in my yard is so on target no. matter what I want, they know just what I need. I can ask them to do anything from planting small stuff or bigger jobs such as tree removal or build a patio and they deliver every time to my complete satisfaction. I have used their services at my job also with great results I highly recommend them to anyone looking to bring their yard to perfection. chuck is a little off the wall but he sends good help always! Haha

My hillside was a bit wild and starting to erode. Found Sinclair Landscaping here on Unilocal.I needed work done to keep my hillside in place, make it safe to manage and make it nice to look at. After we agreed on the work Chuck was quick to get a proposal and contract together. Had to wait for the right weather but then the crew got to work. The crew was hard working and efficient. Not a single complaint. The site was clean and tidy each afternoon when they left. The work was done in record time… clearing, trees trimmed, railroad ties, stairway, irrigation, rock and the planting of 5 trees, ceanothus and lantana. I am happy. Chuck still checks in to make sure its all doing good.

I highly recommend Sinclair Landscaping Company for landscaping work and gardening service. I had several landscaping companies bid for the landscaping job for my newly renovated home. Sinclair Landscaping Company was by far the most responsive and professional. Chuck Sinclair, the owner, was on time with his initial appointment with me at the job site. He did the initial walk-​through and offered many good ideas as well as accommodated the landscaping plan that my wife had drew up. As agreed, Chuck came back within 1 week with a fee proposal that clearly stating all the proposed work. His bid was not the cheapest among the bids I received, it was above the median. But when I look closer to the proposal with the quality of materials being used, I thought it was fair. I sensed that he was very experienced, knowledgeable, respectful, accommodating and he understood what I wanted. I felt comfortable having him work on my project. We agreed on a slight fee discount from the initial proposal and I gave him the job. One difference between him and other landscapers that earned him the project was that he wanted the job. He proved me right. His crew was well organized. They were at the site early in the morning and worked throughout the day and every time they would clean up the place before they leave. Chuck took us to a nearby nursery to show us some of the plants he recommended for our place and also have us pick the ones we like. It was a great way of communicating, otherwise I would have no idea what plants he was planning for us and it would be difficult to describe to him the plants that we like. The job was originally estimated to be done in 3 weeks timeframe, and it was completed in 10 days. The landscaping was beautifully done. I received many compliments from neighbors and friends. It’s priceless when you are resting in the living room and look outside the beautiful backyard. The project was smooth and Chuck kept us up-​to-​date with either text messages or phone calls. He was always reachable when I have questions. I was impressed with his work and I also hired his company for weekly gardening service at a reasonable price. It is a luxury to have Chuck around to take care of business. I think we need more companies like this one.

I met Chuck after reading his great reviews on Unilocal and he promised he would make our landscaping beautiful. We had a tight deadline and budget and Chuck more than delivered on his promise. We are extremely happy with our new yard. He’s very responsive and he and his team could not be more pleasant to deal with.

We found Sinclair Landscaping right here on Unilocal and thought we’d give them a chance since they have good reviews and are local. After meeting with Chuck, the owner, we decided go with their lawn service. I’m glad to say that our yard has experienced a gradual yet positive make-​over in the last three months. We are very pleased we checked on Unilocal before selecting just any gardener off the street.

Chuck and his team are amazing! I am a research fanatic and met with many different landscapers when I decided to redo our front and backyard. Right when I met Chuck I immediately connected with him and his desire to make the client happy. He also had the lowest price by far.
Throughout the process Chuck was accommodating and efficient. We changed our minds a couple of times but he was right on schedule.
We replaced the grass in the front yard with beautiful variety of desert plants and railroad ties to level it out. Chuck brought me to the nurseries to make sure that I approved all the plants before he bought them.
In our back yard, Chuck also put in a sprinkler system, cement for patio and half court, and so many gorgeous pants that I have forgotten the names of.
We are so happy that hired Chuck on regular basis to maintain his masterpiece and because he sweet guy.

I needed grass, I called and left a message, they never returned my call.
I called the following day (apprehensively, because I shouldn’t have been pursuing) and spoke to Chuck, he said he would come by and give me an estimate, never did. No call back.
— I refuse to chase a company for a service, I guess they make enough money and don’t need my business.

Just completed a landscaping job with Chuck Sinclair. He and his crew did a wonderful job putting together a beautiful English type garden in the front yard and tranquil garden in the back. Love the Japanese Maple. The crew was professional. They always cleaned up after themselves at the end of each work day. Just tell them what you want and Chuck has a good idea of what it takes to accomplish that idea. We felt like we got a good value for all the service that was provided. I would recommend Sinclair Landscaping.

Chuck and Jeff are a great team! I have recommended them to many of my friends in the Pasadena area. I found both of them a few years back and have never used another company since. I highly recommend them. the price and service is great, they’re always on time, clean, nice and do a great job! Chuck is great to work with too. He always has new ideas for me when it comes to problems we encounter. Jeff is sooo sweet too! He does a wonderful job with my windows every-​time. Again, I highly recommend them and feel sorry of anyone else had anything less then an amazing experience.

There’s an abundance of gardeners in the San Gabriel Valley but it’s hard to find someone who’s legit with a license and won’t disappear on me after a few weeks. Charles works with-​in my budget and does a great job. My
yard requires attention to detail as I have mostly plant and flower gardens
and a small lawn. Sinclair Landscaping has been doing a good job and I’d recommend them to anyone.

I’ve gone through 4 different landscapers since I moved to Pasadena 2 years ago. It’s hard to find reliable guys but the solution is to probably go with someone licensed because they seem to be more responsible about actually showing up and up-​keeping your lawn and garden. I found Sinclair Landscaping Company online. They had me at «award winning.» I’m glad I finally got a reliable landscaper.

Charles, the owner of Sinclair Landscaping Company, really takes his work seriously. I had to review him because every time I ask for something specific it gets done immediately. They’re not your everyday run-​of-​the-​mill gardners. First of all, they’re licensed and organized. I live in multi-​unit residences in Pasadena and around here we like our natural surroundings well kept. You can’t go wrong with Sinclair Landscaping Company.
