I have utilized this storage facility twice and would do it again in the future. The staff is attentive, professional, and friendly. The facility itself is secure, clean, and temperature regulated. I’ve never had issues with parking or with the facility being too crowded or loud. When moving in, they let you use their moving truck which I thought was great! I (already have and continue to) recommend So Cal Storage in Pasadena to anyone looking to store their belongings!

The customer service here is amazingly awesome! Muriel and Chris could not be more helpful and sweet. They know you by name and are so hospitable that going there is like visiting friends. We lost the key to our storage lock. Chris said he would take care of it for us, no problem, however, it turned out that our lock required a locksmith. Muriel immediately contacted a locksmith, got us a discount with him. The locksmith arrived quickly (he was very nice as well but I forgot his name) and got us into our storage. Not to mention, this is one of the cleanest, best ventilated and well-​maintained storage facilities around!

Friendly service, was able to use there moving van to move. Very clean storage facility that was climate controlled, there was multiple elevators and pushcarts to make the move easy. Even free water given to me inside the office. Highly recommend over public storage.

Miriam and the guys are awesome, they are so helpful and offer solutions to all your storage needs, and problems. The facility is well maintained and clean, with free coffee and cold bottled water if you need it.

Amazing service and staff that work there! I moved across country and needed a place to store all my things temporarily until I found my own apartment. They even let me use the moving van to pick my boxes up at amtrak! If I ever need a storage unit again this would be the first place I’d go.

My father had a large storage unit here for several years, which I kept some stuff in, before he bought a house. I can’t comment on the price, as I wasn’t renting it, just kicking in, but everything else left a favorable impression. (I know the rates would go up, which eventually drove my dad to donate must of the stuff in the unit.)
The facilities themselves are pretty good. It’s a multi-​story building up a short drive on the side of the office. There are a few large parking spaces in front of the building, and a row of regular spaces a short way across that the storage unit shares with the other businesses beside it. There was only ever one or two other cars. The building itself requires a key-​code for entry. It looked pretty secure. No windows, few entries, and it was off the street with no little alleys or anything. Inside are two or three trolleys. The hallways, and the elevator, are spacious. The entire building, and this was a real plus when hauling a lot of junk, is air conditioned generously, like a movie theater.
The staff were helpful, though we never had major problems, and very friendly. They would often make good small talk when you went into the office, offer you one or two of the little water bottles they have. We never had trouble getting them on the phone.
If I had to store stuff again, which I hope I don’t, I would use this place.

I am recommending SoCal self storage to all my friends. Chris was so helpful and friendly. They deserve 5 stars! Great prices move in specials. Very convenient and clean.

You get extremely courteous service from the folks working at the storage company. Chris was very helpful. Got set up with a storage unit for me and my fiancé it was no fuss we moved our stuff in the same day and off we go thank you Chris and SoCal self storage.

SoCal Self Storage was great. They correctly billed my employer and me in the right proportion, and they pro-​rated 2 days for me at the end of my storage. Overall, it was an uneventful experience, which is exactly what one wants in a storage company. As a plus, Don and Muriel are very nice.
I do note that they raised the rate for a 10×10 from $ 150 to $ 162 once in my 9 month stay.

Overall SoCal is a decent place: it’s a clean and no hassle kind of place. The folks that work in the office are always helpful and nice. My biggest complaint however (and it’s a big one) is that they raise the rate on us periodically. I understand that business is business, but I get the impression that they think they have us cornered… just a heads up if you’re considering SoCal. Otherwise, it’s perfectly fine.

Definetly a fan!!! This was my 2^nd time using the facility and I was very pleased with (both) experiences. The staff is professional and very pleasant to work with, the facility is clean and secure (and climate controlled, awesome) — and yes, they work with you when/​if you have those «life issues» that sometimes impact the timing of your payroll.
Anyway, I highly recommend.

This storage place once thought to be a good value has turned a different leaf.
The only person with any kind of brains is DON he works weekends.
The rest of the staff including the moronic manager will cause you problems that you wish you should have gone to public storage down the street.

Absolutely recommend this facility! Very cool, clean, friendly, and efficient storage with very competitive prices! 2 very large elevators with dolly’s available to use. Oh, do you need to borrow a medium sized truck? No Problem! they have one and you only need to refill the gas tank! WHAAAAT? And when you’re done… they have cold bottles of water available to you and all your mates, tricked into helping you move! :P LOL

I very pleased with my experience. I felt the price was very fair, especially with the service you get. I received a free move in truck and the workers there are authentically friendly. I didn’t feel like they were just putting on a smile for business.
I also donated a few items when I no longer needed storage and couldn’t be there to meet the Salvation Army. I called and SoCal Storage took my combination lock number and said they would let them in for me. If I need storage space again, I will certainly be returning.

Nice clean storage facilities. There is an employee on site to assist just in case you forget your entry code.

Been there for 4 years and I have to say that they did work with me in though times. I always had peace of mind with my belongings in their facility. They have big hand carts always available. Immaculate facility.

I’m very impressed. I have a storage unit that is 50 miles away, so I was looking for something closer. I found this place, which is only a mile from me, and I am more than pleased.
Super clean, extremely nice staff, secure, and very reasonable rates.
It would be cool if the access hours went a little later (only till 6pm) but that’s a very minor issue.
