History

Established in 1958.

Richard Boyd couldn’t have seen where his vision would one day lead the small Pasadena pest control company he purchased in 1958. Fifty years later the company has grown to become a source of effective, affordable products for professionals and homeowners across the country.

Starting as a local pest control company, Ford’s Pest Control grew to become Ford’s Chemical and Service in 1976. Later, in 1985, Control Solutions, Inc. (CSI) was created to distribute Ford’s products to the professional and consumer markets.

Ford’s success and growth in formulating PCO, Animal Health and Consumer products drew the attention of Roussel, which acquired Ford’s in 1989. Following the sale, Control Solutions continued the tradition of local customer service through it’s five Solutions Pest Control Stores.

In January 2011, Zach Colander purchased Solutions Pest Control Stores from Control Solutions Inc. The stores have expanded their product line for additional customers and added two locations.
