Swift Glass

I called René a week ago to get a quote for a windshield. To be honest, Swift was the only company I called. Since Lucy had given him such a great review, I did not hesitate one bit.
René was very nice on the phone, called me back once he had the quote and we scheduled a time/​date to get my cracked windshield installed at my home. On the day of, he called me to confirm his arrival and showed up when he said he would.
I also watched him do the whole thing from start to finish. We were talking most of the time, so it probably took him a bit longer (maybe 35 mins) to finish the job.
Anyway, I didn’t realize how easy this was going to be. The quote seemed very very reasonable. I definitely recommend Swift for anyone who needs new glass!

I’m a slacker when it comes to certain things, it’s true. Today I realized I had slacked on repairing a crack in my windshield for about 7 years. Time flies!
Rene at Swift Glass saved me big time! He’s a fully mobile service, so after some scheduling snafus we were able to compromise and meet at a location that was convenient for both of us so he could take care of what actually was two cracks that had converged into one, on my windshield.
I watched him do the whole thing, which only took about 20 minutes, and he explained everything he was doing the whole way. Not only was he clearly a pro, he was warm and funny the whole time too.
The finished result? The amount of the crack that’s visible is now only about 10% of what it looked like before, so that’s a HUGE improvement. And because I only paid $ 39 for a Groupon, the price was amazing!
Yay!
I didn’t realize this, but Rene said that cracks should be filled in as soon as possible, because otherwise debris gets in there and can block the resin from filling it in. Considering I waited 7 years to get mine filled in, I bet it would be virtually undetectable if I hadn’t waited so long.
Rene also replaces car windshields, as well as residential mirrors and windows too, so I’m keeping him in mind for future stuff.
Friendly service like this is worth remembering, and recommending!
