Trinity Baptist Church

My wife and I visited here last Sunday for the first time. We were both looking for a strongly bible-​based and bible-​focused church that was relatively small and full of both young and middle-​aged families. Prior to attending I had listened to a couple of their sermons online. After listening to their sermons I was convinced that this place is worth checking out. We arrived about 5 minutes early, which was perfect since we were greeted immediately and were given a mini-​tour including the Children’s nursery, which was great since we had our nearly 8-​month old with us. Pastor Warren (I’m guessing he’s the Senior Pastor) greeted us immediately after the sermon had concluded and invited us for their food and fellowship time in the adjacent room. Everyone was very friendly, seemingly genuine and curious about how we found this church. There is a good mixture of middle-​aged and young adult families (we fall in the latter category). The worship style is very traditional with old-​style Hymns, but we actually enjoyed the sincere reverence with which it was carried out. We also enjoyed the thoughtful and humble prayer over a read-​aloud Bible scripture just prior to the sermon. We’ll definitely be attending this church at least one or two more times to get a better sense of it, but so far we are very blessed to have found this after being disappointed in numerous other churches we had visited. 4 stars for now, but will update this posting/​rating once we decide to really get plugged in.
