Quoted 69 $ to replace a original iphone4 screen and 300 $ for an iphone6s screen. Seemed a bit steep since Apple swapped my broken iphone6s with a new one for 300 $. The guy was super kind and helpful.

Make sure they can actually fix your phone. I was told to leave my phone and come back in an hour and it would be fix. I come back and they tell me that they don’t fix iPhone 6s screens and apparently they didn’t think to tell me that when I brought it in. HUGE waste of time!

Broke my screen and was refer to them by Verizon. I called and inquired how much it will cost and how long it takes. The guy told me $ 109 and I ask if he got time to do it right away if I swing by, He say yes so I drove there, found a street parking which is very hard to find. Pay 1 hour.
When I get there, a guy told me its $ 149 and he say $ 109 is for iPhone 6 not plus. Fine. I say go ahead then he say 1.5 hours not right away.
And i told him I call earlier and now everything is not what as i was told before. He said I must have call the wrong store in Texas. Nice try, I show them Unilocal where I found their number he said yes that’s them but there are 2 persons in the store and non acknowledged the info I was given.
I guess I spoke to a ghost. Now that’s scared me and I zip out the store as fast as I could.
Found another store $ 119 done in 30 mins while I wait. No problem .
Sadly bad business model will lead to business failure.

He helped me understand my iPhone 6 battery & how to preserve it.
Andrew also assisted 3 other customers very quickly & confidently.

I wouldn’t call it cheap (over 100 to repair a cracked screen) but Andrew G. was very nice and knowledgable. It took under 2 hours and they fit me in right before closing. My iphone was even returned cleaner then I dropped it off! Thank you.

Goldstein (The worker that helped me) was amazing. That’s the true definition of Great Customer service. They fixed my broken screen on my Samsung Galaxy S6 edge +. Fast service. Will definitely return. Highly recommend this store. They did a great job on my phone.

If I could give it 0 stars on customer service I would. My personal experience was with Goldstein, after being told to be there early to ensure getting my phone the same day… I did show up not once, but twice and they were not open at 10, at one time I waited until 10:30. When I politely mentioned it he got upset and said I was being rude and attacking him. I was speechless. I took offense to being told that. As a business owner myself, I believe in feedback good or bad and appreciate to hear from my clients.
Now, after having them «repair» my phone twice it is still not functioning correctly. My lower quadrant is still not working. I wish I would have just paid 20 more and gone through my insurance. My experience with this business was not a good one.

Very honest people. Had to replace my phone’s screen, and they told me it would be cheaper just to buy another one.
The other store I went to tried to sell me the screen.

My husband and I have used their services a couple of times each. The guys always give a straightforward, accurate estimate right away and are great about giving repair options. It’s always friendly and easy.

Dropped my Galaxy S from on top of a roof, shattering the glass around 9 am yesterday. With a small business to run, and two kids in school, I need a functioning phone. I took my damaged phone to Ubreak at 10 when they opened, and had it back in my hands, fully repaired before lunch was over. As a returning customer, I was given a discount. The customer service is top notch, very friendly and professional. I will remain a loyal customer and go to the Ubreak guys for any smartphone issues or repairs in the future. Ubreak ROCKS!!!

Dropped my phone in water and they said I had to leave the phone for 72 hours. Was not a major problem something to do with speaker .
72! Hours did not work for me I do my business using my phone another place did in within the same day.

I shopped around for numerous smartphone repair shops. It was hard finding a shop that would fix my Nexus 5 or accept the replacement glass and digitizer I had purchased on my own. I needed someone with the tools and technical knowledge to swap out the broken screen with a new one.
Ivan and Goldstein are professional, attentive, and informative. They didn’t have a problem with my phone or the fact that I had all the replacement parts already. No BS. The price for labor was fair, the repair was performed quickly and with no fuss.

Ivan was so wonderful today! Thank you for fixing my phone in record time ! :)
I live in Pasadena but work in Glendale. When I dropped my phone and the screen popped out it was bad — took it to Glendale store next to my office but they didn’t have the parts — for an iPhone C? So I called Pasadena and they said «give us an hour.» I went in, they fixed it in 15 minutes flat, Ivan was super helpful and then I begged him to sell me a new screen protector for it, and he put that on for me too. Thank you so much UBreakIFix Pasadena and Ivan!

I decided to give a call to the number that you provided. They told me that in order to receive a refund I would have to visit the store location I was at.
I convinced myself and decided to give it another try, therefore, here’s my 4^th visit:
I «proved» to them that my screen was defective and the reps were willing to provide me with a refund, however, under the condition that they would need to remove the screen they put on initially replacing it with an old CRACKED screen! I was utterly shocked at the level of dishonesty in their promises over and over again. I thanked them for their business and walked out.
Unilocalers, beware of this place. Go somewhere else!

If they had actually repaired my laptop on the first, or even second try, I would have given them 5 stars because Goldstein is a super nice guy! However «nice» doesn’t cut it. It took them THREE times to fix my MacPro screen. The first few times I went home and the screen peeled away, exposing the inside of the laptop.
I calculated that I spent three hours of wasted time on my end hauling back and forth between home and the store (not accounting for waiting time). They should have offered some sort of coupon at least for the hassle on my end.
From the looks of it, it feels like this small shop is not able to keep up with the demand of customers and I sense that quality and detail are thus lacking a bit.
HUGE negative is that Goldstein answers the phone when customers are waiting and are there before the phone stars ringing. They need an answering machine so they can call people back when the store is not chalk full of customers. This is just bad business practice and demonstrates to customers that «Sorry– your time isn’t as important as those making phone calls in.» I almost wanted to call the store while I was waiting.
It seems like Goldstein is on a lifeboat quickly filling up with water, and he is trying to use a ladle to drain it out. Next time I’ll go elsewhere.

Fast and friendly service, with only one issue (which was quickly fixed).
Pros:
+ This place fixed a shattered iphone screen for about $ 90 including parts and labor, and did it in about an hour.
+ The fit and finish of the repair was very good, and it looked brand new.
Cons:
— The only problem was they forgot to reattach the «ear speaker» and it was non-​functional when I picked up the repaired phone. Fortunately, they fixed the ear speaker connection under the 90 day warranty and didn’t try to charge me.
Overall this place is fast and friendly, and does clean high quality work. Just be sure you fully test your device before you take it home, in case they miss something like they did with my earpiece internal connection.

I stopped in on a Saturday morning and an hour later my phone was fixed. Lickety split … For $ 100 ! The guy working was very pleasant and now my phone is as good as new. Lesson learned, taking better care of my phone.

I’m the minority, and I say that because I don’t have an iPhone. I have a Galaxy.
So let me tell you I like uBreak. They do fixes to certain phones that other mom and pop shops just don’t do. Every store only caters to Apple products. What about us?
uBreak not only took care my defective camera but they warranty the entire phone for 90 days after you get it back. Now that’s service!
One thing I wasn’t too fond of was that I found the same part (Galaxy S5 Camera) online at $ 25. The employee confirmed that it was the same part. uBreak was charging me $ 130. They marked it up incredibly high.
Nonetheless, they did a great job. He told me the phone would take 3 – 4 hours to fix. It ended up taking 2.5 hours. Under promise, over deliver.
I’d come back.

Disappointing. Don’t get me wrong — these folks are friendly and well-​meaning. But my experience was negative.
Brought an iPad mini in with a cracked bezel. Was quoted a price of $ 149. Two days later, it was done.
When I picked it up, the technician told me that they’d needed to Dremel the bezel in order to fix it; they then sealed it up with adhesive. This left a noticeable blemish and gap on the unit.
I was disappointed because I felt they should have told me that the repair would leave visible cosmetic damage. When I expressed that disappointment to the tech, he told me that «since it was already broken, it already had cosmetic damage.» Well, that’s true — but isn’t that what I was paying to be repaired?
I told the tech that I was hoping to sell the iPad. He «guaranteed» me that the blemish/​gap wouldn’t affect the price. I find this pretty hard to believe and challenge anyone to submit an unblemished item versus this one to a buying service like Gazelle, or even eBay, and get the same quote. It really goes against all common sense that a damaged item could fetch the same price as an undamaged one. (I would have admitted, of course, that the item had been repaired – but a repair that leaves marks is different).
All this could have been avoided if the techs had simply told me in advance that my returned product would not be 100% restored. That would have given me the option of walking over to the Apple store and paying more for a refurb/​exchange — or accepting this level of service in return for the lower price, which I might have done. Instead, I was offered a ten percent discount and a lot of excuses.
Bottom line: tell your customers what you’re going to deliver to them in advance and you’ll avoid such conflicts and win a lot more goodwill. As it stands, I’ve got a partially repaired — and yes, that’s what it is; imagine if you’d brought your car to a body shop and they delivered it back with the dents removed but a cracked windshield — iPad that isn’t up to par.
(If you want to see what I’m talking about, I’ve posted photos of the «repair» to this listing. I challenge anyone to argue that this is acceptable service — or that customers shouldn’t be told that this is the condition they’ll receive their units back in in advance.)
UPDATE: I complained to the vendor’s corporate franchise parent office. I was impressed with how quickly they got back to me – then disappointed yet again. First, I was offered a $ 50 partial refund. I reluctantly accepted the offer, though I think that it isn’t really adequate. But it really doesn’t matter, because – ten days after being promised the refund «within 48 hours” – I’ve received nothing of the sort.
UPDATE: Because I didn’t receive the partial refund, I filed a chargeback request with my credit card issuer. After researching it, ubreakifix told them that they hadn’t issued the refund because I need to come into the store to get it. They never told me this. Moreover, they have my email and phone number, and could have called to let me know I needed to get the refund in person. I don’t doubt their claim that they preferred or could only issue the partial refund in person, but this is another example of their inability to handle problems promptly and efficiently. Bottom line is my iPad looks like crap after their flawed repair.
