We are a writing, editing and translation service based in Pasadena, CA, able to serve clients around the globe in multiple (French, Spanish, German, Italian) languages. If you — and this is you the business, you the individual, or you the in-​between — need something put into language, we can do it for you. You can tell us what to write and we’ll write it, or you can provide us with rough copy and we’ll polish it according to your specifications. We are committed to making your written communication show you in the best possible light, and pride ourselves on being the friendliest of ghosts.

Established in 2010.

Originally known as MDG Writing Services, Word Handler is a more versatile incarnation of our commercial client-​oriented former self. We realized that the need for high-​quality writing extends beyond the business community, and that a broader outreach would bring us an even greater variety of exciting clients with whom to work.

We were founded by a Comparative Literature Ph.D. who realized that, in the age of the Internet, there was an enormous need for a service which could provide written copy which will make people look good — as opposed than goodly or well. Thus the inception of Word Handler following a decade spent researching and writing for documentary films while moonlighting on what he realized was the hobby of writing fiction. There is great satisfaction to be gained from exercising the sheer craft of writing, which is why we enjoy Word Handler so much.
