History

Established in 1978.

Dr. David Ramsey graduated with honors from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1977. The first practice location was in San Jose, California, where he specialized in Workers Comp, Personal Injury, sports injuries, family care, pre-​natal, and pediatric chiropractic care.

He was chosen as one of 20 specialists throughout the U.S. to be a clinical investigator for the FDA clinical trials of the new Therapeutic Laser Technology. He became a member of the scientific advisory board of Laser Medics, Missouri City, Texas.

Dr. Ramsey was featured in Forbes magazine, on CNN, and other national publications for his pioneering work with Therapeutic Lasers that were used to treat repetitive strain injuries as well as sports injuries sustained by members of the San Francisco 49ers.

Dr. Ramsey was a faculty member and clinical supervisor at Palmer College of Chiropractic West for 2 years prior to moving his practice to the Central Coast, where he has specialized in Functional Medicine.

I have had a fascination for human biology and physiology from the time I was a young. I was intrigued by books about human anatomy, pathology, and health food when most other kids were reading comic books. I loved watching Jack LaLanne on TV and wanted to be him when I grew up!

I had a long history of back problems, digestive problems, and allergies. My Dad convinced me to go to a Chiropractor when I was in my early 20’s. He had received dramatic improvement with Chiropractic care at a young age from a head and neck injury he sustained as a result of race car accident.

The great results I had from the Chiropractic care for back/​neck pain and asthma convinced me that this would be my career. I wanted to help other people regain their health with this amazing natural approach.

My interest in health food and nutrition also started at a young age. I was able to cure myself of chronic digestive and immunity problems with nutritional therapy after medical treatments failed to help.
