Specialties
EPS specializes in the structural design of PV systems. We work exclusively in the power industry, with about 80% of our work from the solar industry and 20% from utility projects such as substations, power plants, access bridges, and power line towers. We provide the engineering and approval of specific roof or ground mounted projects, as well as generic racking designs or preparing engineering packets or charts to assist with bidding.
Our overall goal is to minimize the required material and labor costs while keeping your project within the minimum design requirements in the governing code. We have extensive experience with both roof and ground mount system design from both a code and wind tunnel testing approach.
History
Established in 2012.
EPS was founded in 2012 with the goal of providing an efficient, experienced, and reliable source of structural engineering for the solar and power industry. We wanted to create an engineering firm where our clients could find personal and personable service that they could rely on through the years. We founded the company with public safety, cost efficiency, and client satisfaction as our highest priorities.
