I love the collection of items this shop carries — it’s obvious that the owners put a lot of thought into carefully curating all of their merchandise. It’s a shame that every single time I come into this store I am met with some of the rudest shop people I’ve ever encountered. I was just snapped at by the girl in the shop for opening the door to a cabinet that was for sale. It was made by a local company — that my husband has worked for over the past 10 years, by the way. She rudely informed me that I was not allowed to look inside the cabinets and that I should have asked her if I had any questions. Apparently, it is not okay to look at the merchandise that is for sale. Perhaps they don’t really want to sell their furniture, and instead just use it for a display. My mistake. I recommend giving your business to The General Store next door — great products and staff that knows how to treat customers.

I’ve always love Firefly Gallery. However, the last few times I have come in I have gotten a cold reception, if any at all. Recently, I brought my granddaughter in to look for Christmas ornaments and gifts for the family. We were followed about the store and «spied» on through display installments. I understand theft is a concern in large and crowded spaces. It would be more effective to help and engage the customer rather than to act on the assumption that they are going to shove something into their purse or damage a product on display. I won’t be coming back. It was a terribly awkward and uncomfortable experience for both myself and my granddaughter. I actually feel as if I would be doing them a favor by not coming back.

This place has great stuff and one-​of-​a-​kind items, but the customer service is pathetic. My wife and I have done a lot of shopping here in the past, but never again. Sales Associates are rude, unknowledgeable, and not helpful. The return and exchange policy is as strict as any place I’ve ever seen.
The owner has always seemed pleasant, but she is not training employees very well. We love to buy local, but there are plenty of other stores in town that have nice and helpful people working there.

I found cute blouses, and toys for the kids, even something for Dad. Even to see, a worthwhile experience

They sell super cute and interesting jewelry, women’s clothes, bag, décor, and perfect spot to get unique children’s gift too

I came in with my mom on an epic browse session and I was just so impressed. This place was cute with a touch of whimsy, mature with a sense of playfulness, and handmade with a touch of love. It was incredibly pleasant.
The best part though is that a lot of the products in this store are affordable. Very affordable and accessible which, in the area that it is located in Paso Robles, makes this store a hidden gem.

Horrible customer service, sales associate would not return a product I had just purchased moments before because the perfume was in the wrong place and yes I tore open the package but I had my receipt that stated product exchange or store credit for 30 days no where did it state any exceptions. I was told to «enjoy my new sent and learn to like it» I obviously won’t enjoy it because it’s not the one I want. I picked up the package that was directly behind the tester and was told that it happens so often that it’s just the way it is basically? So I have to pay for your poor product display? Being in the customer service industry as a hairstylist I would NEVER treat any customers this way but obviously firefly does not care about repeat business. Very disappointed. Will Never be back not that they care.

Such a cute little place! Beautiful items here. I was drawn in by the beautiful wooden cutting boards (too beautiful to use) with beautiful stones implanted in them. I went to the back, where there is a small sale area. I had a white elephant party to go to that night, so I found the perfect gift. A mug that is black with some eyes… then when you fill it with a hot liquid, it lightens up and becomes squids in a blue ocean. LOVE!
There are also beautiful jewelry everywhere.

A very unique store to browse. They had some lovely smelling soaps. The variety of things they have is awesome. This store is unlike any other I have been to in the Norrh County!

I can find a gift for anyone here. I love the dresses, too, and the young woman who helped me was sweet but not too pushy.

Firefly is unlike any other store I’ve experienced. If I had to make a reference it might be Anthropologie meets museum gift store. However because Firefly is local and owner curated, the merchandise is more uncommon and varied: clothing from small and charming companies in LA and Europe, artisan soaps and candles, whimsical kitchen, gift, and décor items, and a vast selection of beautiful items made by local artists.. . Don’t get me started on the jewelry! And the books! There is even a «playhouse» in the middle of the store filled with absolutely delightful children’s gifts. Looking for something one-​of-​a-​kind? This is your place. All price ranges. All ages. Male or female. I love to visit OFTEN to see what is new. You will find the ladies at Firefly delightful, artistic, helpful without being pushy, and knowledgeable about their products as well as the Paso Robles scene. Watch for special events and trunk shows also. They know how to have a good time.

This is without a doubt the best shop in Paso Robles! Walk through the door and enter a pretty magical space full of delightful items for you, your home, or that special friend who has everything! Interesting artisan pieces for your home, unusual jewelry made by locals, a smattering of cute and original clothing, soaps, candles, stationery. You name it! Most of all, though, you’ll find charming and helpful staff that will help you find just what you’re looking for (or what you never thought you were looking for but happens to be just the perfect thing). Be sure, especially, to ask for Rachel. She’s just as delightful as the store itself, full of perky energy, with a great sense of style and a helpful attitude. I’m a fairly savvy shopper, and find that my most enjoyable experiences go way beyond the merchandise. It’s really the people who make the difference. You’ll find ALL of that and more in Firefly. If you’re a resident or tourist, you’ll have fun stopping in to see what’s new!

I love this store. Whenever I get the chance, I love to pop in and see what new items they have. Great place to pick up unique gifts. Stop in and check it out. Very friendly staff and the only problem you’ll have is wanting to buy everything.

I am a local Paso Robles shopper and I went into Firefly Gallery with my mother last Saturday evening. I cannot express how great of an experience I had and what a fun store it is. There were a variety of adorable and unique gifts and the clothes were so different but on trend. The cute and spunky sales representative was so helpful, knowledgable and personable, very great customer service. Am spreading the word to all my friends to come here!

Stopped in over the weekend, previously a store I visit regularly, mostly in your other Paso location, but had a bad experience there. A gal with short blonde hair was in charge and was very unfriendly and looked to be on her cell phone. She did not try to make contact with me or help me. I would rate the store non existent on customer service. Let’s get it together or are you doing that well?

Usually one of my favorite stores. Have been shopping in this store for years and usually find some great treasures.
My mom and I went in there this afternoon. Was delighted by the goodies but sorely disappointed by the rude sales associate and bad service. Short blond hair who said she was one of the buyers. I had to walk up to the desk and say hi to her FIRST. She did not engage me, did not try to connect or be friendly in anyway then got right back on her iPhone. RUDE! She has about ⁶⁄₇ people in her store and she did not bother to greet them, connect with them or offer them any product knowledge. She just stood behind the desk doing her own thing.
After putting my purchase on the desk I walked out not buying it. This store obviously does not need sales and is not interested in good customer service. Do they not understand how much they could not only keep but increase sales by having their store staffed with friendly helpful sweet people, who walk out from behind the counter and get connected.
Very sad and plan on spreading the word about this poor poor service.

I can’t wait to get back to Paso Robles and see what you have because I love your store! I bought several jewelry pieces made by the owner but every one in my group (ages 30 something to 50 something) found some thing that absolutely delighted them and that is what makes this store so fantastic!

Cool stuff! I really like these large wood platters with inset stones and shells that you see right when you walk in. They have a nice assortment of things good for home or gifts. The gallery upstairs is free and has some interesting art. Good stuff.

This place is really cute. Not a conventional gallery, but as their business card accurately describes, a «contemporary craft gallery.»
Jewelry, candles, stemware, hand made books, etc. All beautiful stuff made by artisans. I wanted to take the whole store with me.
Bonus: I went up and asked a really nice woman behind the counter about local wineries and she was very helpful and friendly. I love little shops with friendly staff.
