Leo Leo Gelato produces and delivers artisan gelato and sorbetto to fine retail outlets, gelaterias, grocery stores, hotels, restaurants, casinos and event venues throughout California, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and beyond. Convenient five-​liter pans (beautifully decorated or flat pans), pints, and half pints are available. Please call to setup a tasting and learn about our delivery schedules in your area.

Our artisan offerings honor our northern Italian tradition, and are handcrafted in small batches using only premium natural ingredients and flavors. We use local farmer’s best produce, gorgeous nut purées, and mascarpone from Italy, and California caramel and honey that boost the gelato’s uniquely velvety texture and intense flavor. No artificial stabilizers, preservatives, flavors, or colors are added. We use pure cane sugars and naturally processed vanilla purée, seasonally fresh fruit, and hormone free milk. In addition to our dairy-​based gelato, we offer premium, dairy-​free sorbetto.

A little bit about the Master Gelatier…

Owner and master gelatier Niccolo Lekai has been obsessed with fine gelato since he was a toddler visiting his grandparents (Nonno and Nonna), Aunt (Zia), and Uncle (Zio) in Italy who would entice him with different flavors of the best gelato and sorbetto Florence (Firenze) had to offer. It was something he looked forward to year after year.

A graduate of University of San Diego in marketing and business administration, Niccolo’s love for gelato drove him to learn all aspects of the business, from production to retail sales, catering, and wholesale distribution. With business acumen and artisanship, he and his Italian father, Andrea, created Leo Leo Gelato, a company committed to continuing the 500-​year-​old Italian tradition of handcrafting fine gelato.
