Native Landscape Creation’s goal is to create an environment for you to enjoy and live in that is low in maintenance, yet stimulates the senses of sight, scent, touch and sound.

History

Established in 2012.

Jared Silveira has grown up in the construction industry. He gained much of his knowledge starting at a young age working with his father who is a custom design/​build general contractor in the Lake Tahoe area. While attending college Jared worked for various contractors learning all facets of general construction. After earning his bachelor’s degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, he worked for Nick Pokrajac Construction. He was involved in building various commercial projects including several local wineries. Prior to the beginning of Native Landscape Creations he was the project manager for a high-​end custom coastal landscape company who was once featured in Sunset Magazine. While he was there he found his passion for working on design build projects focusing on creating spaces that spoke to their natural environments. Jared has since developed Native Landscape Creations.

My experience with Jared and Native Landscape Creations has been world class. Jared and all of his employees are always professional, clean up after themselves, polite, and have a very high standard of quality. My wife and I are so happy with our front and back yards after Native Landscape finished their work. We are so happy to spend time out doors with friends and family, and everyone who comes over raves about how nice everything looks. Jared has an eye for detail, and has been very responsive to every need we had during the construction process, and has followed up with us to make sure things are settling in nicely. I would recommend Native Landscape Creations every day of the week.

I usually don’t write reviews, but I had to let everyone know how happy with are with Native Landscape Creations and their crew! My husband and I hired Jared and Jason to design, plan, and install our beautiful new backyard. They made the whole process pain-​free and fun! Jason listened to our wants and needs and designed a backyard beyond our expectations. Jared and his crew made the design become a reality. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

Jared did a wonderful job re-​designing our landscaping. Not only do I love the clean look of the redesign but I also love that the plants he chose are drought tolerant.
Oh, and did I mention that he also designed and built a beautiful fire pit for our backyard that we use almost every night? Yes, I highly recommend Native Landscape!

At our first meeting, Jared met us at our home. We discussed our plans, and he invited us to see 3 – 4 of his recently completed projects. We spent half a day discussing ideas. It was great to see many different design concepts and realizations; which provided ideas to enhance our own project. We worked from design, to proposal contract, to contract options and modifications to meet our phase budget, to the final completion. Jared was and still is our primary point of contact for all questions and concerns.
Some points, I hope I don’t miss too many:
Excellent native plant selection and creative layout.
Exceptional natural rock selection and craftsmanship for our fire pit, fountain, and bench/​wall caps.
Exceptional quality of the concrete work; the concrete crew was friendly and professional.
Wonderful night lighting of plants, steps, and rock fountain.
Budget friendly BBQ island design with every amenity we desired.
Identified design improvements and gave us options even if it meant more hard work on their behalf.
Easy to work with Jared; and he kept us well informed of the progress and any delays.

We have nothing but great things to say about Jared and his crew at Native Landscape Creations. He is professional, courteous, punctual and CREATIVE! He designed the front yard we had envisioned and he and his crew put it together in no time. Jared is an impressive young professional and we are glad we did business with him. After all was said and done, he walked the yard with us and gave us instructions on the irrigation, lighting, plant life and water feature. Whenever we interacted with Jared, he always made sure he had answered all of our questions. We couldn’t be happier with our new front yard!

Native Landscape doesn’t even compare to the rest! Jared’s ability to design you a landscape, deliver the end product, and come in under budget, is phenomenal! I love that he does maintenance too! He is always on time and there when he says he is going to be.
