Went here today after so many suggestions and it was well worth it. We started off with the lengua(beef tongue) tacos as an appetizer with a side a guac for entrees my husband order the Posole, which is a traditional Mexican chicken/pork soup with hominy. This was the one thing we wouldn’t order again. For $ 10 you could order the fajitas mixtas, which is what I ordered. They were great and had good flavor. The price for this dish was $ 11. What I liked was that they had a kids menu which constipated of finger foods like chicken wings with rice and French fries. I usually have a problem finding something for my picky eaters at Mexican restaurants. We ordered one horchata and one melon drink, they were pretty good. The prices are very affordable, but the only reason why I am giving them a 4 is because when I asked for extra lime they charged me for it separately.

It is a clean and nice place. The first time I had ordered the fajitas mixtas and it came on a hot sizzling plate. It was delicious except for the beef that was a little too salty for me that day. Today I ordered chicken tostadas and it was so good! Generous portions and presentation is nice as well. Oh btw the green sauce was amazing!

This review is solely for their take out. I work with Mexicans so I trust them the most when it comes to ordering Mexican/Latin cuisine. San Antonio’s is one of the few places my company will order lunch from collectively. We usually place large orders and request that it is delivered by 12 noon. San Antonio’s is always on time or early. Their food is fresh tasting and the presentation is always very nice even though it’s in a takeout styrofoam box. Their beef is always marinated in tender strips. The chicken and pork are usually pulled. The green hot sauce is so good I’m considering going there and just buying a bottle of it(if they even do that). Sometimes, based on the food, my coworkers and I can tell when they use a different chef because one of them is better than the other. Sometimes the beef is phenomenal and sometimes it’s just good. All in all their food is very good and reasonably priced. Stay away from their quesadillas though because they’re not good; very dry. It’s like they don’t know how to even make them. Every coworker of mine including myself has made the mistake of ordering the quesadillas and never doing it again. Everything else is great though!

San Antonio 2 is a small Mexican restaurant serving Latin American cuisine. It is a cozy place with huge TV screen and a counter for take out. Menu is quite extensive. Hostess/watress was sitting with one of her patrons, but she readily got up and gave us a seat. We were in a rush and she served us quite sufficient. The food was fresh and delicious. We had tostadas. Due to some allergy restrictions some of the ingredients we ordered to be on a side. My friend was first time in Mexican restaurant and she was pleased with the taste and quality of the dishes we shared. We also had soft tacos with chicken. Chicken was a bit on a dry side, but still fresh and tasty. We also had a side of rice. It was orange color with some unexpected pleasant flavor and taste. We did not expect much due to running in the first restaurant we saw in the area. It was a pleasant surprise.
