History
Established in 2000.
We were originally from Trenton NJ in the Chambersburg section of the town. An area famous for its Italian Bakeries, restaurants and Tomato Pie joints. This area boasts the oldest and best Pizzarias in the nation, without a doubt.
Through four generations and over one hundred years we were in one location in the heart of «The Burg»
After the demise of Chambersburg we moved our shop to Pawleys Island. We added light food to our offerings as we only made baked goods in Trenton. To our surprise there was a big demand for quality pizza and sandwiches in the area, offering homemade Italian bread for our sandwiches along with top of the line meats has set us apart from the normal sandwich shop.
We have been blessed with a great local following that continues to amaze us with their support and love. We are a family run and operated shop.
Meet the Manager
Gary B.
Manager
Gary grew up in the family business which was a row home in Trenton NJ, with the family living on the second and third floors, and working on the first floor.
He learned his craft working at a young age along side of his father George and mother Anne. Attention to quality and detail, they carried the tradition along for 37 years, placing them at the top of the Italian bakeries in Chambersburg. They were far from the largest bakery in the town, but had the reputation as being number one.
Gary took the reigns in 1989, running the business as his parents retired to Myrtle Beach S.C.
He and his wife Suzanne run the store now, both contributing to the food and desserts as well as the management.
