Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Charles Colon started CP Woodcrafters in 2002 when after leaving his sales position at Cisco Systems he decided to take his hobby of furniture making and open his own business. Over those 10+ years, CP Woodcrafters has expanded from a one man shop in the basement of Charlie’s Rehoboth home into a full size shop and showroom located just over the Massachusetts border in nearby Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

CP Woodcrafters has also evolved into a full family business when Charlie’s wife Cheryl joined him full time in the spring of 2013 to help not only with the marketing and day to day operations, but also has started learning the design aspect of the kitchen industry. Their twin daughters, Emily and Olivia also work part-​time helping with inventory control, marketing as well as website design.
