The ice cream is good they do not have as many toppings as most places they do not carry peanut brittle they are over priced but they never have a long line so I do come often

After reading the reviews it seemed only right to give this place a go. A friend and I were browsing for a good place to get ice cream and it seemed like a good choice. I purchased a small ice cream sundae which was $ 5 before toppings .80 each. The ice cream is very average, the toppings were over priced, and the overall quality of the ice cream sundae was below par. Wouldn’t recommend — hit the grocery store and make your own.

Great ice cream like any other typical ice cream place. They are cash only so be aware of that before you get there! The service was really slow, but it wasn’t awful. It seems to be the only decent ice cream place in the area so I’ll definitely keep going!

Very simple spot, put so perfect every summer! I don’t think I have ever had food, so I cant comment on it. I’m pretty sure they have fries, wieners & regular finger food type menu. I do though Love the ice cream. Its gotten a little pricey over there years, but not enough for me to stop. they have so many flavors of hard/.soft ice cream. I believe there are some frozen yogurt flavors as well.
Its a few streets over from my childhood house, so of course when I visit the rents, I gotta get myself a banana boat sundae, because it ROCKS. I don’t mess around with those lil’ cones. lol. Its got a few picnic tables to sit and enjoy your ice cream, I will mention though its right on Newport ave, a super busy street main street. So if you have little ones this make not be the best place to eat, there is just s mall fence seperating you and the traffic!

Huge sundaes, great prices, and a convenient location make Dot’s a winner in my book. I’ve never had anything other then ice cream there so I can’t speak to the other menu offerings. Speaking of ice cream, Dot’s caters to soft serve fans as well as the hard scoop enthusiasts offering a wide variety of flavors in both styles.

The ice cream is very good. There hot weiners are like gut bombs from all there grease. My tip would be if eating there hot weiners, buy tums or something because you may need it.

Cash only, bad parking and no bathrooms make it average as a place, but for a quick ice cream place that’s right on a main road it’s not bad. A ton of flavors to choose from and ok prices make it a better choice than Coldstone.

I have been going to dots for years. Sadly, after tonight, my family and I won’t be returning. We have spent a ridiculous amount of money on great ice cream sundaes. The items are pricey and we always tipped very well and were happy to do so. I guess to save money on containers they told us tonight that they would no longer give us a larger container for ice cream that we order and pay extra for every time to get extra scoops of peanut butter! Really? The place is always pretty busy and I guess they have decided they don’t need to accommodate customers as much. Good for them and even better for us-​hopefully we won’t find a new place and we will save money and improve our diets which will only be good.

Mmm… A wiener combo, a can of cola, a cone with chocolate chip cookie dough, which happens to be OVERLOADED with dough. Can’t think of a better way to eat at a picnic table on a warm spring day. I just wish they had French fries.

Dot’s Dairy Bar is A-​1 Tops! I’m a lover of soft serve ice cream, but I don’t normally venture far from Chocolate and Vanilla twist. I can’t resist trying other flavors because Dot’s has so many flavors to choose from! My recent favorite was Maple Nut… Yummm.
Great service, friendly people and great ice cream and food! I just learned from the owner that Dot’s is open year round, except in January. So if you get those cravings for a cold refreshing ice cream cone in the middle of February, Dot’s is there for you ;)

Hey hey I am baaaaaack and I am here to review one of my favorite ice cream joints in one of the greatest cities this side of the Mississippi! That’s right you guessed it! Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
Dot’s Dairy Bar is a rare gem. If they made ice cream dive bars this would be it. The place itself is very small and with limited parking. But the ice cream makes you forget all about this. I swear this stuff is like crack in a dairy format. They always have a great assortment of ice cream flavors. I recommend anything with Peanut Butter. Dot’s has it all. From cones to shakes! The prices aren’t that unreasonable either! Don’t feel like sweating your (insert body part here)? Then grab a pint to go!
