After all is said and done, my new hardwood floors are exactly what I wanted. There were a few bumps in the road, but we are all human and Factory Carpet Outlet did everything in their power to make everything correct.
I definitely would go back, and recommend their services for flooring.

Unlike the other folks my experience with them was exceptional. Sherry was so helpful in getting different samples from which I could choose. A guy came up to measure and brought some samples. I wanted some more choices so he dropped off some additonal choices. I had questions on which one to pick and Sherry helped very much. I stopped down there to return the sample so they could match and met Guy the owner. He was very nice as well. The installers were great and the carpet is absolutely beautiful. I had gone to a few other local places and honestly, you cannot beat their prices.

I agree about the horrible service. Went there to get information about prices for a custom rug and the owner never got back to us so we had to go back in person. They seem very scattered and unorganized. We basically wasted a week waiting for information and had t go elsewhere anyway. After looking around at other places, his prices are not «outlet» prices. I did get a runner made from the backroom remnants and it came out great. Would go there only for remnants!

Horrible service, rescinded on quoted pricing and came back with a price that was $ 1,200.00 more then quoted AFTER job was ordered. No reason to back up the price increase.

People were initially nice here but as I would return to try and decide which carpet to go with, it became increasingly difficult to obtain accurate pricing for what I was interested in. Their dogs were barking like crazy in the back room which made it hard to concentrate on shopping. If I asked the salesperson a question about pricing, she would say, «I have to ask my boss». She would disappear and then her boss would come out and try to «close the deal» or «expand» on what I wanted which was pricing. When she initially gave me pricing for carpeting, it changed when I went back. «Oh, that’s extra», even though it wasn’t listed on their initial quote. It was like dealing with a car sales person. No one had answers and they never sent an email with final-​final pricing as they said they would. So much for giving local businesses my business. I ended up purchasing a carpet online at Restoration Hardware. Much more pleasant and a better price! Included the rug pad!
