Ugh. This is one of those where the food was really good, but the service was less than desirable. We were in the Hope Artiste Village for the Farmer’s market and looking for lunch. Our kids saw someone with a grilled cheese and immediately wanted grilled cheese. The one Nosh was offering had fancy meat on it and tomatoes and stuff that kids won’t touch. So we asked if we could get plain grilled cheese sandwiches. The woman working the counter seemed a little put out by the request, but took the order anyway. The chef was the opposite, and super nice when he brought the food out, and it was a delicious, buttery, cheesy grilled cheese sandwich. But when I went to pay, the woman at the counter charged us the same price as the one with the fancy meat and cheese. So it cost me $ 20 for two grilled cheese sandwiches! I’m sorry, but the sandwich was not that great. I see from other reviews people have had a different experience, so maybe I caught them on a bad day. ***UPDATE*** The owner reached out to me to apologize and offered me a refund which IS awesome customer service!

WOW! These ladies are dedicated to their craft and it shows! The croissants are the REALDEAL! The soups are amazing and unique! The sandwiches delightful! The only down side is there is not much space if you are eating there. If you go on an off time, seating is not an issue, during lunch however, take-out may be the better option.

What grumpy women! Who knows if the food is good, the people who run the place are so off putting I didn’t stay. Don’t bother. Their food might be great(I don’t know, I didn’t stay) but their attitudes suck! Don’t bother with this place, there are plenty of other places with great food and the vendors are nice.

I was walking around the Hope Artiste Village and found NOSH. A hidden gem! Lee, Fab, and Zack are warm and friendly people. I had chicken leek soup, with a lemony tarragon chicken wrap, and too drink green and black tea mix. Hit the spot! I’m always looking for the next new restaurant. Small menu, big flavors! You don’t need twenty pages of food. All you need is great taste and quality. You will find it here. When I was getting up to leave I was treated to one of their orange and walnut scones. Perfectly cooked! Just the right amount of crisp around the edges and soft in the middle. Always nice too receive something you weren’t expecting. NOSH has made a new customer in me.

I must say, these ladies know how to make some great food over there. Whether it’s soups, sandwiches, you name it. everything is always cooked to perfection and tasty as hell… usually with a little unique twist. Couldn’t recommend it more.

Stopped into NOSH for the first time during the farmer’s market today. We had intended to buy some pastry but didn’t get beyond the tea since the sales person we were dealing with was so unbelievably unfriendly. I figured there was plenty of other businesses selling pastry that would welcome my money. Seriously NOSH put a smile on your face and act like you actually appreciate the business.

As much as I’d like to keep this little gem all to myself, Nosh deserves to become a destination venue — it’s that good. This tiny café serves up some of the best unpretentious food in the greater providence area. Each time is a new culinary experience, as the menu changes daily, so get on the distribution list. Every meal has been thoughtfully crafted, with respect for the quality ingredients and rich, complex seasoning to highlight them. Fab and Lee LOVE food, and you experience it in every bite. Even the days when I’m not madly in love with my meal, it’s still wonderful, yet providing a reference point to the exceptional highs. Then, when you think it can’t get much better, finish with the best croissant I’ve had outside France and a cup of luxurious tea. Big thumbs up!

As a fellow food business in Hope Artiste Village, I sincerely welcome Nosh and their absolutely beautiful food. Their breakfast pastries are better than anything I could hope to make and I’ve been running a bakery for 15 years! So worth the calories! The décor is friendly and comfortable with an open kitchen that invites customers to converse with the chefs at work. I had a cuban sandwich which was good, not amazing, but good. I ordered the chips but was given wasabi slaw. As a firm hater of wasabi, I was glad that the flavor was barely noticeable. The menus are limited and don’t always live up to the words that describe them, but all-in-all a very respectable effort worth visiting on a regular basis.

Thank you Nosh for saving the Hope Artiste Village and giving us local employees an awesome breakfast and lunch time treat. The menu is filled with creative, healthy and tasty options. The soups are just terrific and I love a nice warm scone in the morning. Nosh has become the go-to eatery for The Hope Artiste Village residents. Having a work or personal event, they cater too!

I had a ham, cheese and broccoli croissant this morning that was honestly the BEST thing I’ve ever eaten. I was legitimately sad when it was all gone, and I’ve been sitting at work thinking of an excuse where I could leave to get another. Her menu of the day was one of the most interesting and appetizing I’ve seen. Please go and support this business, so that I can try more of her delicious options.

Nosh is my new lunchtime obsession. They just moved into Hope Artiste and I believe their main business is catering, but Tues-Thurs they’re open for breakfast and lunch. The ladies who run it are SONICE, by far the most kind and genuinely involved business owners I’ve ever met. Every day they have a brand new menu and every single item I’ve had so far has been fresh and delicious. Because of the rotation it might be silly to recommend any one thing but today I had the best chicken salad known to man with«magic» soup. They make new flavored iced teas everyday which I’m also obsessed with. Another item — a croissant-like pastry that has some tasty filling in it — is better than a cronut! The moral of this story is: the food and drinks are delicious, the owners are SOFRIENDLY and please give them your money so they never leave!
