Najat’s Tailoring

If I could give her no stars I would. By far thee worst encounter I’ve ever had with customer service in my life. She was rude, crude & mean. I was on the phone with the bride to be& she too «witness» how disrespectful she was.
I searched for a tailor nearby my way. She popped up. I went in with a custom made dress that needed a little bit of fitting. She «assured» me that she could do that. I left my Maid of Honor dress with her TO DESTROY! Came back she took out the support (held the dress up) damaging the dress! She then «claimed (2^nd time now) that she could fix it (she toss out parts of the dress *eye roll*). I gave her a 2^nd chance. Came back, dress was in worst condition then the first time. She told me on the 2^nd visit that if it’s not up to par, I «do not need to pay her.» That was my only reason for letting keep my dress a 2^nd time. Instead It got progressively worst.
Lastly, when I cried in her mediocre dressing room. Came out, remind her of what she said to me the last time, she claimed she never did. That she worked «really hard,» & that she’s never encountered in her odd years of experience such a «rude customer» that my «kind is the worst» I’m African American BTW. I guess it’s okay to destroy a pricey dress & then get disrespected by racist.
Good luck to whomever (people of color) who allow her to destroy oh I met «fix,» no I actually meant destroy your belongings.

I’ve been going to Najat for 3 years now. She’s altered dresses, bathing suits, skirts, dresses, long dresses and everything else. She’s always done a perfect job and I wouldn’t go to anyone else. I highly recommend Najat.

My wedding was drawing near and my maid of honor went here to have her dress altered. The owner of this business destroyed her dress but claims it was perfect. She removed the inner structuring of the dress and basically destroyed it. You will see by the pictures. She had thrown away the inner structure of the dress so that could not be repaired. We were very upset by the alterations and told the owner so. She claimed my maid of honor was trying to swindle her and that she knew from the beginning that my maid of honor couldn’t be trusted. She said she never met a customer like her before. It was quite insulting. Considering she was going to be the maid of honor in my wedding of course she had high standards for her dress and rightfully so. When I called about our concerns, the owner made the claims I stated above and hung up on me. I tried to call back thinking our call was somehow disconnected but she proceeded to decline my calls. When you go into business you have to listen to your customers needs, not hang up when they are telling you they legitimate concerns. I have never been treated in such a rude manner. Please never come to this business!
