Established in 2012.

After a decade of real estate management and investing, we have decided to offer our expertise and services to other property owners in Rhode Island & Southeastern Massachusetts. Nexus Property Management brings years of experience. With practices and procedures perfected over time we are able to increase equity for our clients while simultaneously providing great service to our tenants. This efficiency allows us to provide a better experience for tenants and owners than many companies who don’t invest themselves. Most real estate companies are primarily brokerages and focus on sales, with property management often being a small side business for them if they even offer it. Because we are property owners ourselves, we bring an eye for detail with a foresight to handle potential problems and issues, many times before they arise. Property management is our business. A decade later I realized the procedures and practices I developed by managing my own properties would be a valuable service to many real estate owners. I am a homeowner and have had Nexus manage my RI property for about 2.5 years. As I I live in New York State, I rely heavily on them for all aspects of property management — collecting rent, performing maintenance, repairs, and placing new tenants. They have been a TRUE LIFESAVER for me. They have always provided prompt and professional service. With their web portal, you and your tenants can make requests 24×7, and all information and records are available in one place. The maintenance crews are responsive, and all work is reasonably priced.
If you are looking for new tenants, there is a RentReady renovation service available to help you decide what work you need and get it done quickly and at a reasonable price. Then the placement service commences with an on-​site video tour of your apartment, followed by careful client screening and complete credit and background checks.
Most importantly, the Nexus team is honest, open, and cares about providing good service. For homeowners and tenants alike, I highly recommend Nexus!

I was a tenant in a Nexus property for 3 months. I had to move out because of code violations that, to be fair, existed before the landlord hired them as the property management company. However, they did not handle these issues any more responsively than the slum landlord had. They did not respond to my requests for service– not even when I had a leak coming through the ceiling through a light fixture and chunks of ceiling falling down on my roommates bed. The city eventually stepped in because a tenant on another floor called code enforcement, who then found a long list of code violations and then deemed my unit «unlivable.»
When you call Nexus, they usually have a call service that answers the call (instead of someone who actually works at Nexus and knows what is going on) and tells you they will «pass the message along.» I have called in on six separate occasions and only once did an actual Nexus staff person call me back.
At best they are an unresponsive buffer for slum landlords. I am now involved in a court case with my landlord, the city and soon to be Nexus because they are trying to withhold my security deposit for leaving a condemned apartment before the lease was up.
Very unprofessional and unresponsive. Choose Nexus if you want a legal mess on your hands.

Very proffessional people, Greg was at all times in anything that we need, ill recommend to any one who is looking for a place to live in, i went to the website couple clicks and in less than 24 hours Greg provide us with everithing (no excuses at all) very prompt… Keep the good work Greg!!!

Our experience with them thus far has been very good. Professional. No surprises. Stand by their work (if they evict a tenant they found, they replace at no cost), only pay for what has been collected in rents, repairs have been fairly priced and intelligently performed. Transparent reporting. We switched from another company located in woonsocket who we were totally dissatisfied with.

Boy, can these guys manage property!
They have an online system for maintenance requests at 11:50am I put in a request and at Noon Mike and Todd were walking in my apartment to fix my fridge which had been leaking on the ground. While they were here they fixed my toilet which went wonky that morning, the shower that had a loose handle, the dishwasher that was also leaking, and the garbage disposal which was clogged. The best part about all of this, they noticed the dishwasher and the garbage disposal and just fixed it, all the while saying «May as well do it while we are here.» Both Mike and Todd were very nice and checked everything twice over. I am very glad that we have a great time of maintenance guys to call next time something happens with our kitchen appliances or anything for that matter!
