We are Payson’s hometown ice cream, organic espresso shop and coffeehouse, featuring 24 flavors of Blue Bunny and Blue Bell ice cream and a frozen stone slab with over 60 mix in options, to customize an ice cream experience that is unique to each customer’s taste preferences. Scoops also has ice cream shop favorites like sundaes, shakes, malts, floats and freezes.
Our coffee is roasted by Tempe roaster Café Cortez and is always fresh and organic. Scoops offers a full espresso bar that includes non dairy and sugar free options to customize any drink to order. Seasonal drinks are on the menu through February. Scoops’ pastries are scratch baked daily and always tempting and delicious.
Scoops also offers full service in house birthday parties and caters ice cream events!

Still a rookie small town business, owners Chris and Maria Higgins love Payson and community they serve. Their goal in starting Scoops, was to have a place comfortable enough to be a hang out for the local youth, yet inviting to young families, seniors, and pass through tourist crowds as well. Chris worked in marketing for KMOG radio station before opening Scoops. The couple are the parents of eight amazing kids and have trouble keeping them out of the ice cream!
