Specialties
Drysdale’s is a «green», environmentally responsible business which uses low-moisture,
rapid-dry methods of cleaning carpeting and rugs, as well as upholstered furniture. We have worked this way since 1990, and are a national pioneer in the move away from nasty, sometimes toxic commercial cleaning chemicals. We also clean tile & grout floors with live, 300-degree forced steam. Our cleaning products are vegetable-based and odorless for everyone’s good health. We are also uniquely capable of performing our services with what is called «engineered water» (EW). By passing an electric current thru plain tap water, we are able to both raise and lower its pH (alkalinity and acidity) so that it functions as an effective and residue-free cleaning, degreasing, and sanitizing product. The source of the electricity we use to achieve this is 100% solar energy.
Drysdale’s has been a BOSTON Magazine «Best of Boston» award winner in our field; maintains a straight «A» rating on AngiesList; and has twice been referred to readers of
the Boston Sunday Globe Magazine. We have been in business serving the Boston area since 1990. We serve customers in the residential, commercial, and institutional
sectors. We also have set up several hundred individuals in their own businesses based on our own innovative techniques, throughout the US and Canada. This side of our business is called Nature’s Quick-Dry.
History
Established in 1990.
The business was begun as a service available in the core City of Boston neighborhoods:
Beacon Hill, the Back Bay, Charlestown, etc. Our service area has expanded to serve
most of the Boston metropolitan area, as well as into southern NH. We can travel any reasonable distance from our Peabody MA headquarters to do a job, but minimum charges will apply, based on the travel distances and time involved. We are a family business, and avoid the practice, common in our industry, of repeatedly hiring underpaid, under-motivated cleaning «techs» to do our work.
