Michael Hunter, DO FACOG

I was a long time patient and always felt his bedside manner to be odd, but thought he was an okay doctor. Now that I have finally changed doctors, found out many things he told me were wrong and now I doubt his competency. Wish I had changed much earlier! Absolutely cannot recommend Dr. Hunter!

I agree! I have had several gynecologists and he is by far my absolute favorite. He cares about his patients and keeps them informed. I am moving soon and will be on the hunt for a new doctor and I am so sad. I was really hoping that he would be delivering my babies.

I just read a couple of reviews on female gynecologist on Unilocal and decided that I had to brag about my doctor as well. I’m not adamant about must having a female obstretrician/​gynecologist. It is one’schoice to choose the doctor, but to me there should be no reason to feel uncomfortable with a male gynecologist. In my opinion, a good doctor will do the job right regardless of the gender.
I have been a patient of Dr. Hunter for about 16 years now. I found his name on the list of doctors within my health insurance’s network providers. Also, one of my co-​worker is a long time patient of Dr. Hunter. His office used to be located in Memorial Southeast Hospital on Astoria. A few years ago he relocated to Pearland, and I continue to follow him. Now that I have moved back to Houston I don’t mind driving to Pearland for my annual checkups.
Dr. Hunter is very professional, knowledgable and has great communication skills. His staff are always on top of things. Because I have already established a long medical history with Dr. Hunter, I highly recommend him to anyone.
