Smoothie King

The drinks didn’t taste good as usual and the employees had attitude!

What time does this place close? I pull up to the drive thru after a workout and see a worker outside on the phone… she clearly saw me pull up to the menu I sit there to wait for her to take my order… instead she turns the menu light off and the open sign off as I’m sitting there… please tell they close at 8:30 on Saturday. She was called all kind of obscenities that night! If you’re closed say so… cuz clearly the open sign was on. This location also has a punctuality problem because I’ve also had problems of them not being open on time …

It always takes forever to get a smoothie here. They are always out of something, specifically from experience strawberries, yogurt, and PB. They are closed on random days when all other places are open

Will never visit this location again. I waited in the drive-​thru about 20 mintues waiting on a medium strawberry hulk after a recent workout. I was the only person there! To make matters worst, I get my shake and it was dark red. I know how the strawberry hulk is suppose to look since that’s the only thing I buy there. Anyway, I take a sip, sure enough its not what i ordered. Smh.

I wanted lunch on the go, so I thought, «Hey, a smoothie!» Enter Smoothie King. (Or rather, the drive-​thru.)
I had just had some imaging done at the Memorial Hermann Imaging Center a few minutes away, and I had fasted so I was pretty hungry. Because I was running errands after, I thought I should get something to eat that I could consume while driving, etc.
I went through the drive-​thru and ordered a large Piña Colada Island. Mind you, I hadn’t been to a Smoothie King in a while, so I forgot how large their large really is. More on that later.
When I pulled up to the window, the guy tells me it is $ 7 and change. I about near fell out of my car! $ 7 for a SMOOTHIE??? Did it have gold flecks in it? For a moment I looked in my rear view mirror because I thought he had told me the total of a car behind me. You know, one that had several smoothies in their order. Nope. There was no one behind me and it was indeed my smoothie. OMG!
Well, I paid for the behemoth drink (40 freakin ounces!) and drove away. It sure tasted great! I later found out why: it’s because it had 1200 calories and 20 grams of fat. WTF? That’s like your entire day’s worth. Or ²⁄₃. Or something. Dear Lord!
If I do go back, I will have to have a coupon or go during happy hour. I could easily have spent that $ 7 on actual food!

This location seems to be super slow when it comes to getting your smoothie to you.
I always order the Chocolate Lean One, but I like stevia to be added and this location doesn’t carry it. Perhaps they should, because it’s a great alternative to Splenda and the like.

I’m a huge fan of Smoothie King! I love the happy hour (half off smoothies from 5−7pm, Monday — Friday).
My issue is with the Pearland location. I waited in the Drive Thru for 25 minutes. And, finally when i got my smootie? It was aweful. I went to get it swapped out; however, it came out just as bad.
