Sugarland Eye & Laser Center

I was having lunch at La Madeline when some spinach flicked in to my Eye. I would not believe it myself. But it happened to me. Crazy.
I was seeing great after Lasik surgery but I am mediately noticed that my right I was now blurry. Not to mention it turned very red. So without an appointment I went over to see my doctor because I figured this was an emergency.
I get there at 1:15 PM. I was ready to get some rude behavior from the front desk because I was coming in without an appointment. However, I was shocked that they were still very pleasant. Bad news was that my doctor was not in this office today. Brain fart on my part. I guess I should have called first. He was in the Pearland office.
They gave me a choice of seeing the doctor that was there today or going to the other office. I was much more freaked out than I am right now writing this review. That’s why I decided to go to the other office. It took me about half an hour to get there so I arrived a little bit before 2 o’clock.
Began getting braced for some rude behavior but likely this did not come. I talked with Elizabeth at the front desk and she could clearly see how frazzled I was. She was able to fit me in but told me there would be some wait. No surprise there.
It was 230 before anybody could take me back in. Amy was very understanding. The doctor did smiled when he heard my story but no embarrassing laugh. I appreciated the understanding because I was already quite embarrassed. I did have some information at the side of the surgery but nothing that was going to damage my eye leave me blind. Too bad I could have suit the restaurant. Just kidding. Ha ha.
It’s been 3 to 4 days and I feel like my vision is back to the way it was before. I wanted to write this review because I’ve always been to the Sugarland office before. But I was so pleased with how the staff handled to me here in this office. It’s a little bit further away for me. But the office is not as busy as the sugar land office and though they do a great job over there, I feel there’s just a little bit more of a relaxed pace over here. So I am switching offices from Sugarland to Pearland. It’s atmosphere very friendly staff and my wonderful doctor.
