Love the 5 taquitos order, and even better they have drive thru, so you can order on time pick up and head out!

This place used to be affordable. That is not the case anymore. Their famous #9 Super Burrito California is now $ 13. I have been eating at the Taquerias Arandas for 20 years, but alas this shall be the last time. If you are going to charge these kind of prices, get some waitresses who speak English. There are now any number of better restaurants that are less expensive. I will be going to them from now on.

Best tacos in Pearland! I can’t believe I waited so long to try this place. I ordered the 5 taquitos-fajita beef & chicken(it was pretty much just 5 mini tacos) and they were absolutely delicious!!! This will now be my go to taco place.

This is my go to place for authentic tacos in Pearland. We always call ahead and have the tacos ready to be picked up at their convenient drive thru window. We have also dined in before, but find the language barrier a bit frustrating. Luckily, the little Spanish I do know consists of Spanish words for taqueria food. Gotta keep my priorities straight you know! Like mentioned before, we usually just get a bunch of tacos and have a feast. From time to time, we dine in and get things like tortas, enchiladas, or burritos. All of which can be be ordered to go as well, but sometimes you just want chips and salsa while you wait for your food. Speaking of salsa, their salsa is good, but their green sauce is amazing. If you like spicy, you will love this. I am no expert, but I believe it is a tomatillo based sauce. As far as the tacos go, we order and love the fajita, barbacoa, carnita and milanesa tacos. Add cilantro and onion to the top and you are golden.

NEVEREATHERE!!! I went and ordered $ 40 worth of food. I waited over 45 minutes to find out THEYNEVEREVENBOTHEREDTOPUTINMYORDER. They told me I could wait another 15 minutes and that there were issues with their system — after I had to wait in line and ask for my food. They offered nothing, but that I could wait more. The manager did not even care that I was frustrated, and just ignored me twice when I asked for the void receipt. The service and outright rudeness was completely unacceptable. They will never get my business again.

Limonadas and horchatas is what I crave. They stay open late so that’s a bonus. I’m brown but don’t speak Spanish which is a problemo because everyone speaks primarily Spanish. They speak English too but it seems like it’s hard to convene my modifications on food. The flan is pretty decent.

I always get the big California burrito. I ask for it with chicken breast, and at the two Arandas that I frequent I get a chopped up chicken breast. This location does not do that. The chicken has been chopped and been resting in a red sauce until it is ordered. I am left with a sour stomach for the rest of the day. I did not eat my food on my second visit, since management said that was the only way they made chicken breast. The red source that they bring to the table is tasteless. Since I am not often in Pearland, I won’t be back to this location again.

After experiencing this more than once as well as reading another post about this same issue confirms this was not my imagination. While this place has decent enough food for return trips, the one thing I can’t ignore is the poor service provides especially if your party is not Mexican. This is by no means meant to be offensive but there is such a difference in the service provided to non Hispanic or Mexican patrons versus Hispanics diners. I have had the displeasure of having the same waitress on 3 occasions each time she has been more rude than the last. You walk in, she barely speaks, takes your drink order with an attitude, and never comes back to check on your party. Every thing is done with an eye roll and mumbles of Spanish. Don’t even try to complain. The manager makes excuses for the rude behavior of the waitresses. The first time I gave her the benefit of doubt, thinking maybe she was having a bad day, the second time I took notice, but this last time I drew the line. After taking my payment, which was given in cash and only had a dime left in change, she returned to my table and asked did I want the change. I replied«no». She then walked over her coworker and stated in Spanish, that I tried to offend her(not true) as well as some inappropriate comments. I surprised her by walking over, letting her know that despite my appearance, I DO speak and understand Spanish and that her attitude and lies were not appreciated. She stood shocked as we left. Needless to say I’m done with this location.

Taco Tuesday can’t be beat! Great queso! Little English spoken so don’t hope to ask a ton if questions. Quesadillas are awesome as well as the tacos!

This review is solely based on the California burrito, which I always order to go so I can’t comment on service other than phone etiquette. Don’t speak hardly any English and may just hang up on you if you try to make a complicated order over the phone. But, I don’t even care because the Cali burrito is THAT good!

i come here when i’m jonesin’ for a taqueria taco and i don’t feel like making the drive to Houston. most of the time i get a good fajita taco. on occasion i have had some gristly fatty dry fajita meat. the service is friendly and fast for the most part. we love their beans a la charra… very flavorful and they have a nice kick! it seems they have everything but the kitchen sink in them: onion, tomato, bell pepper, cilantro, chorizo, bacon… soupy goodness!
