Update: the tires arrived. Luckily I ordered two because her front two tires have very little tread!!! Brought them back here for installing. $ 20 each. Pretty cool.

I was so lucky to have my 16 year old lose her gas cap causing the check engine light to come on. I actually just took her car here because her tire was low. That by the way, has not 1, but 2 nails in the tire. Yes, let’s just go ahead and repair that because it was in the center thank goodness.
But wait, there’s more! So the diagnostic is $ 98!!! I had them do this and they quickly told me that yes, it was the missing gas cap. (Somebody in Pearland has a nice gas cap because she forgot the damn thing!)
*sigh*
Then, I asked them to repair what I originally came there for and now we needed the wheel lock. Her car had at least a week’s worth of clothes when we went to check the back for the wheel lock. Embarrassing! Bras and all. And I found one of my suppose to match socks! Wtf! Stay out of my clothes! Oh yes, the tire. The wheel lock. After much searching the local tire shops by phone, no success this far. Called the husband in Hawaii (Navy), he said he remembers having it there. Nowhere. I go home, pull into the driveway, and what I thought was the fuse cover in the drivers under dash area, was a change holder that held… THE WHEEL LOCK!!! I went right back. They fixed it. $ 18. Cool. Oh, they were so kind and saw my frustration w my daughter and the gas cap and charged me just $ 53!!! I was so grateful. More grateful I found that stupid wheel lock.
But wait, it gets better. So, she apparently drive over a pothole very hard because the front passenger tire had a bubble /​warped on the side by the rim!!! Two tires, check! I got them from
. Great price. I’ll return here to have them mounted and balanced.
$ 240 could have been spent somewhere else don’t you think??? Me, too!

My family has been using this tire and auto repair shop for about 10 years. We have never had a bad experience. They do quality work at reasonable prices and always finish on time as promised. They never pad the estimate with unnecessary work. They have even recommended to us that the car was probably under warranty and that we should take it to a dealer. They are honest and have integrity.
Recently a dealer service center gave us an estimate for $ 2300 of work that was needed for our car. Of that, only some was «critical» and they said they would give me a «deal» at $ 1500 for this. Instead we brought it here. They told us that some of the work the dealer suggested was unnecessary. Not only unnecessary, but the parts were not broken as we were told. West Pearland agreed about some of the work (what the dealer said was critical) and did it for half.
So instead of being ripped off at the dealer for $ 2300, West Pearland fixed the issues correctly for $ 660.

I’ve trusted West Pearland Auto with all my vehicles, including my classics, for almost 10 years. Their prices beat the dealership, and they stand by their work. Fair price, quality work, they continue to earn my business, and I’ve recommended them to my neighbors in Pearland.

My experience with West Pearland Auto when I moved from the Med Center to Pearland. I went to this location on the recommendation of my co-​worker/​neighbor. I originally went to them in the fall of 2013 with concerns about squealing brakes. Even I know enough about cars to know that my brake pads should be checked. Much to my surprise, I was told that my pads were fine, but I needed some sort of belt that ran me up to a total of $ 150 combined with my oil change. Life went on and the squealing returned, but was lessened. I really couldn’t hear it much over my radio which is always on when I drive. I have since had my oil changed one more time at West Pearland Auto. Fast-​forward and yesterday I noticed a grinding sound when I braked. More than hearing it, I FELT it. It was clearly metal on metal contact. I left my car at my old service station that is right across from my job on my way in this morning and just received the call that my front brakes and rotors are completely gone and I have the luxury of paying $ 289. Who the heck knows if I ever needed whatever belt West Pearland Auto put on last fall. I can only imagine that the brakes were going bad then and they figured they could let me wear out to the rotors and get a bigger pay day. It will be a cold day in Hades before I ever set foot in West Pearland Auto again. I also intend to give my co-​worker an ear full for recommending them.

I went in to get an oil change and inspection. The only complaint I have is when I pulled in no one came out to speak to me. I went inside and it took the guys a few minutes to notice I was standing there and to come in and help me. The guy that did come in to help me was very friendly. The oil change and inspection were completed fairly quickly. They also informed me that someone had aired up my tires way too much and they adjusted them to the correct amount. Overall, I felt they did a great job and I was very satisfied when I left. I will definitely be returning.
