Really surprised at how nice this place was. Well kept, nice trails, nothing too long. Great scenery with river, trails take you to picnic areas with tables near view of river. Grills provided, plus fire pits with wood supply. Great to just do a quick getaway from town, lay in grass relax.

Beautiful area with amazing trees! It was quiet when I visited except for bird song and the rustling of trees in the wind. Perfect spot for a picnic. There is a camping area too. There are two sections. The first has the camping, picnic shelter and a ecology center. The other section down the road is a narrow road along fields that ends in a boat launch area.
