DO NOT RENT here. Even though the apartment is located in Peekskill, the rental company is located in NY City and the very few people who will finally answer your call are very unhelpful. They are there just to take your money. There is no one accountable that can help you and the company only has a PO Box to contact. Your calls will go straight to a voice mail box that is like a black hole. Even if you have problems with the apartment, there is little you can do to get any help. You will never hear from them again about your security deposit. We never received the security deposit although the apartment was left in perfect condition after just one year. They kept saying that they will mail the check «next week» and it went on for months. The woman who answered asked for our address again and again and would promise to send the money but she never did. Sometimes she would put us on hold for 20 –30 minutes until you give up. I can only deduce that this company take advantage of people knowing that there is no way you can walk into an office and demand for your money back and they can simply ignore your calls. I have done numerous research online and could not find the owner, or an entity or someone higher up to contact in the company. They company seems as if it is totally non existent.
This company is full of liars and cheats. They take advantage of the elderly. Beware. Best advice DO NOT RENT here.
