Mariann is wonderful! So friendly and great with my curly hair! I often stop people with curly hair to ask who cuts their hair and when one of the girls at work told me this was her hairdresser, I had to try her. Love the location of the salon with its easy parking too. The salon is huge and airy and clean which I loved right away. Mariann was very friendly and sat me down to ask what I wanted, made suggestions and did a great job. She gave me such a great blow out style that I went 4 days without washing my hair. That never happens with my curly head! She’s a keeper!

Spacious, clean & nicely decorated salon. Plenty of parking out front with no need to feed the meter. The owner Maryann was pleasant & listened carefully to what I wanted done. This was my first time there and I was pleased with the cut & styling. The price was less than I usually pay at a downtown salon. I will most definitely return as long as the service remains good.

I had gone to many hair salons and was never overly thrilled until I went to Golden Scissors. Mariann is super nice and so is the other hair stylist (I forgot her name). They massage your head while washing your hair and they really listen to what you want and do an excellent job! The prices are lower than the big named salons in the area and I think they do a better job than them. I’ve gotten highlights there also and was very happy.
