Doug is excellent. Our project involved building two built-​in bookcases to match cabinets that had been in place for close to 20 years, and on a floor that was not particularly level. The existing cabinets had also been custom made and had any number of non-​stock details. Doug had great ideas on how to make the new bookcases fit.
Doug and his team did an excellent job. They not only matched the design of the cabinets perfectly, but the finish as well. They were able to match what had been a custom stain on mahogany cabinets perfectly. People who see Doug’s work can’t tell that it hasn’t been there all along.
Kudos, and highly recommended.

Doug and team were magicians they turned my ugly, useless wall into an amazing built-​in media cabinet and L-​shaped banquette. I’ve never managed any sort of home renovations in my adult life, so I was nervous about this project, but Doug’s team worked with me during the process and relieved my anxiety. We live in a small, pre-​war building with sloping floors and a tiny elevator, but Doug’s team worked their magic and really transformed my apartment. Their work exceeded my expectations — Thank you! Doug and his team recently designed and built a 13ft high built-​in wall cabinet for our apartment. Working with Doug was great: he is very professional, experienced, knowledgeable and creative. This made significant differences to the project: for instance, there is virtually no modern looking, high quality sliding ladder hardware available commercially, and so Doug found the perfect hardware, originally intended for another purpose, and had sleek wheel housings custom made. We had a number of meetings with Doug during the design phase and he was always very responsive to our queries throughout.
During the installation process, Doug’s team was extremely professional, careful, respectful of the apartment, and efficient.
The final result was outstanding and is admired by everyone that visits the apartment. Highly recommended!

He communicates accurately with the customer as well as others involved in the project (general contractor and electrician). His designs are a perfect juxtaposition of functionality and aesthetics.
