Today was our 2nd time there 2 days. Yesterday we tried breakfast and tonight we had dinner. The service was amazing and the food. OMG. The food was amazing, the wait staff was extremely helpful and quick. This is becoming a staple whenever I’m out here visiting family from now on.

Bad day at Cracker Barrel way after breakfast rush 9:45 on a Friday morning, long wait to be seated. However, lots of open tables in dinning room, many unbussed. Floors very dirty. Wait staff slow, food coming even slower. Spoke with manager, his excuse earlier large unannounced party had thrown them off their game. Will look for another breakfast stop on way to Florida next trip.

Our server Teresa was the best! She was very attentive! Teresa had large parties seated in her area but she never forgot us a party of two. We will be sure to ask for her next Sunday after church.

The manager just stand in door way like always. Sent my food back because it was hard. manager said that is how they are. Come on people if I want chicken jerky, I would have asked. Rude people. I come almost ever Sunday. The last couple of time were bad and the-management. Seem like they need to clean house for new cooks and managers.

I absolutely love the chicken and dumplings here, they are definitely my favorite. The servers are pretty friendly and somewhat attentive. It seems though on my last couple of visits that the service is getting slower, so I can only come when I have extra time. Overall not too bad.

I ordered the Grandpa’s Fried Breakfast with Country fried steak, eggs, grits, and some delicious biscuits and gravy! I’ve always enjoyed Cracker Barrell and this visit was not any different. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful and prompt! The food took maybe 10 to 15 mins, so I was shocked at the turnaround time. I left a happy camper! Be sure to check out the retail part for some cool items!

After getting my oil changed nearby I needed a big breakfast for a long day of work I had in front of me at home. Always very fast seating and nice host and waitress. Very fast service and got my coffee and OJ quick. OJ was just like I like it with lots of pulp. I am not a fan of grits, but now that I live in the south I decided to give them another try. Got the«Grandpa’s» breakfast, scrambled eggs, hash brown casserole, chicken-fried steak topped with gravy, grits and biscuits with gravy on the side. Meal was great, perfect size fried steak for breakfast. Casserole was great and cheesy. The grits, yes the grits. Well I put some butter and two packets of sugar to make it taste a little more like cream of wheat, and it was not that bad. All in all a great meal to start a house spring cleaning.

Delicious bacon. Yummy country ham. Didn’t try the grits, biscuits or hashbrown casserole, but others at our table did and gave a thumbs up to all. Fun place to eat with a quirky little gift shop to poke around while your food is digesting. Next time I’m indulging in a biscuit!

We ate at this Cracker Barrel probably 5 days in a row while we were in the Pelham area house hunting. It was very convenient since we stayed at the hotel next door. However, I would have driven 25+ miles to go here. Amazing waiters/waitresses. The food was wonderful. It is in a great location right off the highway. Parking is not an issue. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner hands down, one of my favorite places to eat.

MMMM… Cracker Barrel… If you can ignore the hokey gift shop entrance and the décor indicative of a 1950’s farm’s garage sale, the food is really really good. Cracker Barrel Meat Loaf is so good that the environment in which it is served is immaterial .The sides are equally delicious, between the macaroni and cheese, hash brown casserole, corn and biscuits they serve with the meal. I’ve tried their breakfast selections once or twice and while not as good as the lunch menu, the biscuits alone make the fare better than some other early morning options.

Ah… Cracker Barrel. The definition of country food. Its too bad they don’t extend past Arizona. The homey chain’s predictable décor and low-frills home cooking is delectable southern food at its near-m, ajor highway best. I always order the chicken and dumplings… plump, firm dumplings and soft chicken in a thick chicken stew/sauce. For sides, you can choose between fried okra, turnip greens, green beans, corn, sweet potatoes, french fries, salad, etc. With bacon-cooked corn bread, or soft, fluffy biscuits and a glass of sweet tea, what more do you need in life?
