Went to @Applebees in Pembroke Pines fl. What a joke! Manager behaved like a child. Food was bad. Get your steak elsewhere if you love steak. I ordered a 12 oz sirloin mid rare. It can out mid well. They didn’t want to replace it and the manager mocked the waiter in front of us. Bad food. Bad atmosphere

I love Applebee’s but this place is by far the worse Applebee’s my food was disgusting, I ordered the salad and it came out hot! I told my waitress, no apology nothing! Smh save your money and eat somewhere else! Heads up!

Worst. Food took 49 mins to come out on a Tuesday. So disappointed. Not to mention my steak came out burnt

Walked in gave my name and number of people. Was not greated was not told how long. Waited and waited for 20 minutes asked how long and got attitude. Walked out and will never go back again. Service is the key to a business people there are 100 of places to eat in the area.

Terrible food .I wish I had taken a picture to show how bad. I got the chicken fujita wrap I was thinking chicken, onions, peppers and you know the usual stuff lettuce maybe. It was literally cold cheese in a wrap with lettuce and cold fries on the side. I had 2 fries and 3 bites of the wrap. We sat at the bar and the only reason they get one star is because the bartender did a good job. WHATCH where you sit at the bar, fruit flies

Lets start with the hostess at the door. Unwelcoming and dry as ever. No type of interest for what she was doing and I literally had to start the conversation. I came here about 1:00pm on a Monday. It wasn’t busy, there was about 6 tables and 3 people at the bar. After I was sat, it took about 6 minutes for my server to come greet me. I would mention her name, but she didn’t introduce herself. Immediately following her «what are you having» she plops herself down at the table like we were about to eat. Umm yeah. I got the two for $ 20 and took one of the entrees home. After she took my order I only saw her when the food came and when she dropped the check. No check backs to see how everything was going, if she could get me anything else, I literally did not see her. One point when I was sitting I saw two other patrons enter the restaurant and waited about 5 minutes for the hostess to reappear to wherever she disappeared to. But I did see the manager notice after that and sat them herself. With any restaurant being slow I don’t expect to be over served, but at least the basics. THE ONLY reason I’m giving them two stars is because the food was hot when it came out. However, I will not be going back anytime soon or recommend this place to anyone. Horrible service, don’t waste your time or money here !!!

Applebee’s usually is a place you can go and get some decent food with decent service. This restaurant had decent food, but the service was horrible. Took forever for the waitress to come over. Then it took forever for our food to come. And she never came back to see if we need anything… which we did… and I ended up having to flag down another waitress to get what we needed. And I will tell you about 20 minutes had passed before I got another waitress’s attention. And she never put in one of the orders. Horrible. I wouldn’t recommend this Applebee’s at all. And the inside is not well kept. This place needs a major overhaul in all areas.

Sitting here wondering why the manager hasn’t come out to talk us about this hair that’s on my sister’s ribs. Nasty won’t be back… EVER

Ever in the mood for frozen food that you need to microwave, but you don’t want to be the one doing the dreaded button pushing?! Come to Applebee’s!
I expected the quality of this restaurant to be equal to a Chili’s or Friday’s. I found out that it is significantly lower and seriously, most things come frozen and are microwaved. The food here was rubbery, dry and in some cases, watery.
Only come here if you’re desperate.
We definitely won’t be back.

HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. From the beginning to end… The service sucked, and food was just blah. Came in on a Friday night (as expected it was very busy). The lady told us it would be 15 minutes for a party of 3. It ended up being 30 minutes to be seated. Once we were seated, we sat for no lie 20 minutes before someone even came to our table to acknowledge that we were there. The young guy came over and apologized– told us he will be right back in two minutes. We were like ok fine. They are busy let’s be patient. 15 minutes later (and yes I time it !!) I had to press the «ask for server» button on the electronic pads they have at the table (NEW).
FINALLY someone acknowledged us– a lady she was very nice. I told her we were sitting for over 30 minutes and still no drinks — not even water ! we arrived at the restaurant at 7:30pm, and placed our order at 8:35pm.
She was really nice and tried to make up for it… She quickly brought us wine, then slowly brought my daughter her water. We never received our waters. Food took about 20 – 25 minutes to come out. We ordered three apps: 4 boneless honey BBQ wings (Lukewarm), 4 small pieces of chicken quesadillas served with red and salsa verde, and chips and salsa. I thought the amount of food was not enough for the price you pay… Ok moving on.
The Mac and cheese with chicken tenders looks like a lot — it’s just a lot of macaroni with three pieces of chicken, and half a bottle of honey– ALOT OF HONEY, all on the bottom of the plate. Very sweet, not enough cheese.
When it came time to pay, thank god we paid with the electronic pad — otherwise it would of been another 30 mins before someone would come to give us the bill and check us out.
The system was really slow and took long to process. The receipt never printed.
Everything was just bad, horrible. Never again.
This restaurant has poor management and it shows !!!

Went to this Applebees on a Saturday evening, it was very busy. Our server was great but the food service terrible! Firstly, our drinks took forever and were just terrible! I don’t know if the bartender was new but the Apple Red Sangria tasted like pure syrup and my husband’s Bahama mama was off.
Secondly, our food took over an hour to come. My 5 year old daughter started crying for her food I had to try everything to distract her. The waitress did apologize and brought my daughter some fries. After waiting an hour for our meals my Salmon was completely dry and my «steamed spinach» uncooked. My husband said the ribs tasted good. My daughter did enjoyed her grilled chicken strips from the kids menu.
After speaking to the manager she apologized for the service adjusted the bill! I will probably try this restaurant again but not during peak hours.

My Mom and I went there for a nice dinner. We were seated right away and the server was very nice. The food was awful. We got the appetizers at the same time our food came. My food was cold and my Mom’s was cooked in the microwave. I asked for extra tartar sauce and the runner brought me cocktail sauce. She did not know the difference. I will think again about going there.

well… my husband liked his sandwich the double hog darey. looked good. I got the peppercorn crusted steak, was awful. I
will never order steak there again. Pretzel sticks were good. all in all will be another year or so before we venture there again.

No, just no. The food taste like a frozen microwave dinner. And i ask for a basic drink from the bar, and the waiter look confused. He had to go to the bar and ask if they had it. (they didn’t). Oh, and 40min on an appetizer. Good thing i did not order an entre. Never going back there again. I rather eat a pbnj sandwich.

Stopped by for a quick bite, I should’ve known. Major disappointment! I found a piece of debris in my food. The manager tried to make it better to no avail. The replacement meal was unappetizing… Pass this resturant on Pines Blvd and go to Bahama Breeze instead.

I suggested Applebee’s to my dad because he’s pretty picky when it comes to restaurants and food in general. Since Applebee’s has a little bit of everything one can choose from, he was okay with the idea. I believe is the closest location to anyone living in the Hollywood/​Miramar area so it is quite a drive, especially in the rain. Nevertheless we were seated immediately on a Saturday evening.
Our server was great and very attentive. I ordered the 4-​cheese macaroni & cheese with honey pepper chicken which is my favorite menu item, as well as a strawberry lemonade. My brother had the chicken tenders and fries dinner, and my dad settled for fish n chips. Mozzarella sticks were and appetizer, but they tasted kind of weird unlike other locations I’ve been to. Though the experience was positive, I give this place 4 stars because we were seated by a window where what seemed to be mosquitoes were located. The last thing I wanted was something to land on my food.

4÷20÷15− I have not been to Applebee’s in years. Last one I went to was the one near UCF in Orlando. First of, the hostess was very friendly, she sat us down, gave us our menus and told us that Heather would take care of us. Heather was terrific. They get 5 stars. Very attentive and sweet. Now, on to the food which is why I gave them the 1 star. I ordered the salmon dish that was on the «healthier option» and it was disgusting. The salmon was super fishy and oily, the greens that were served were wilted, dry and tasteless. It will definitely be my last trip to this chain. I don’t normally do chain restaurants but my friend had a gift card. Note to self: DONT EVER GIVE AN APPLEBEES GIFT CARD!

Came to Applebee’s for Happy Hour & Appetizers! The two for one was a great deal! My friends and I had plenty of drinks. On the other hand, their appetizers weren’t that great. Plus they take a long time to bring them. I ordered the Nachos with Pulled Pork… their was like 3 pieces of meat and burned tortilla chips. They really should stop making churros. They are atrocious! The chocolate is like the syrup you use for milk and it’s cold instead of warm. The churros are tiny and taste awful. The sweet chile brisket sliders were good but it only comes with two. I suggest if you are sharing you need several appetizers because they’re so small. Don’t come with a big party because your friends are going to have to stare at you eat and drink because they take forever to bring the items.
On the other hand, the service was good. The manager did stop by to say hi.

Drinks specials and food prices is one of the only reasons to come here. The best bartender is Joey, my opinion the worst is Tiffany, no customer skills and a gruff attitude. Just stating facts!!!@

The service was fine/​acceptable but the food absolutely sucked. My wife ordered a triple bacon burger medium. The server stated that’s there’s no medium request it’s either pink or no pink… Uhhhh ok –_​– she requested no pink to be safe and received a nearly burnt dry burger with cheese and bacon to cover the burnt. She also received about three ounces of fries, I wish I had a scale. I ordered the margarita chicken and shrimp. Smh. I can’t even begin to explain how horrible this dish was. I am a chef in the hotel industry so maybe I’m a bit harsh but I can’t believe any culinary institution would serve such trash. The avocado was brown. The mini shrimp, that were cold we’re tasteless. The rice was bland and had two melted cheese spots with some beans and corn that sucked. The chicken was actually cooked perfect minus salt and pepper but it’s at the table so no worries. I would never visit this property again. I got what I expected.

Worst place ever, they seriously need a new manager. Recently placed an order to go. It’s was a Friday night (so it was kinda busy), but it’s not an excuse for an order to be sent back couple times. The manager even told me «I know what my daughter will be eating tonight». I was like «seriously!’. While waiting for my new order I even took a peek into the kitchen and it’s beyond dirty. Please avoid this place. You will do yourself a favor.

I read the reviews for this applebees before going there. I did not have high hopes for this place, but had a gift card so I figured I would give it a shot. The place was not busy when we went in. We had to wait a while to get service. I was almost ready to walk out of the place. Drinks, food, service all took to long to get. Overall it had to be one of the worst applebees I’ve been to. The food was alright (that’s why it gets 2 stars), but I would never go there again until they fix the service. The menus also need to be updated, to many items have retired stickers over them and it looks unprofessional.

I’ve been looking for a local Applebee’s for awhile but after eating here last week, I WON’T go back to this one. Went with a party of 3 around 3pm. Place didn’t seem too busy and was seated quickly. I should’ve known things would go down hill after i noticed a manager bring food back to the table next to us. We sat for awhile before the serve got to us. The 2 ladies i was with ordered the 2 – 1 margaritas (an order each) and since they were ordering from the 2 for $ 25 menu we got the spinach dip and chip. Eventually we got our drinks and the dips with hardly any chips. They ladies ordered the 7 oz steak medium well and the chicken, i ordered the 9 oz Bourbon Street Steak well done. It sucked that you only get one side order per dish. Got the food and boy was I disappointed. My meal was $ 15 and some change but the steak I order was smaller then the one my friend got off the 2 for $ 25 menu (and it wasn’t even cooked well done) and the other 2 dishes had a ton more potatoes then i did. After dropping off our food the server became a ninja. She would sneak past our table and not bother checking on us, had to wave her down just to get napkins (she gave us like 4 of them). This was the first time i ate a full meal at Applebee’s and was still hungry. The ladies ordered their second round of drinks and we waited about 10 – 15 minutes before they got them.
Don’t waste your money here. Better off going to IHOP.

Went with family. It seems like they didn’t n gave a good «space» for us. It was good food.

Enjoying lunch with my boo! Not too crowded.. I ordered steak. very rubbery! Service was excellent and food came out promptly.

Our server was amazing! She was so nice and really pointed out really awesome things in the menu. The Pretzels are crispy, crunchy and soft inside with a side of melted cheese and honey mustard. Great wings and the endless rib special is pretty cool. 2 — 4 — 1 happy hour everyday all day also is a nice thing to take advantage of.

I’m giving 4 stars mainly for service… Tiffany the bartender was just awesome she gets 5 stars. She was very friendly and attentive I’d definitely sit in her section when I return.
The atmosphere gets 3 stars… I’ve learned sitting in the bar doesn’t mean you won’t be annoyed by noisy children. The bar is poorly situated in the center of the restaurant surrounded by dining booths… Which is where all the families want to sit. Parents please be courteous if your kids can’t behave in a restaurant don’t bring them to one and if they play videos/​games to keep occupied please keep the sound appropriate.
The food last night started off mediocre the bone in hot wings were dry and our Ceasar salads were completely over dressed. We did the 2/​$ 25 dinner having mac & cheese with chicken & lots of bacon and the steak, both of those were good which made up slightly for the salad & wings.
Big plus Happy Hour is 241, 11 to 11 every day and on weekends ½ off appetizers!

HORRIBLE SERVICE, dirty restaurant and SERVER never greeted the table. Never coming back ever !!! Poor management team and supervision … 2 thumbs DOWN

It had been one of those super busy days and we were hungry. My mom, husband, friend, and I decided to stop by Applebee’s for supper. I had never been to this location before, It was very nice. There were a lot of choices on the menu and the prices were reasonable. I had an under 550 calories dinner, the savory cedar salmon for $ 12.99. It came with veggies and steamed potatoes. It was delicious. Mom and my friend shared the special two meals for $ 24. Mom had the half rack of ribs and said they were very good. My friend enjoyed her steak. My husband had the Roma pepper steak, which he said was delicious. I wish the serving sizes had been a little larger.
I was happy to find out that they have two for the price of one drinks. I had two of my favorite Long Island ice teas and my friend had two Bahama Mamas. So refreshing.
What added to our enjoyment of our meals was the terrific service, Our server, Corey, went out of his way to be friendly and helpful. We even had the manager stop by our table to see that we had everything we needed.
